Hey guys ,well i had planned on growing some weed ,but my landlord is coming out to change our heating system, which will take a few days apparently

The reason i am pissed is i just travelled 25 miles yesterday to the headshop and spent £40 or approx $ 100 on some barneys farm g13 seeds.

AND they have been in moist kitchen roll for 24 hours

They have NOT cracked yet, Can i cancel the germing process here and dry them off and keep them or are they fucked now?

It shouldn't be a problem to hide them while his fixing your heat. They don't need any light yet. So you should be good, just put them in the closet.

Don't stop the process!
Just keep the seedlings in cups hidden from view, they won't break surface till a few days from now.

As said, you shouldn't have to worry about a thing with seedlings. A bedside drawer etc should suffice, then when the landlord leaves each day you can pop em back under a light if needs be.

well the issue here is i don't know when exactly this going to happen , it could be next week or next month. The landlord says , they shouldn't need to rip the house up to bad,but there is going to be extensive work, and my grow closet happens to be on the other side of the wall of the hot water tank.
I have just done it so it's too late if theyre screwd theyre screwd, thankfully if it has messed them up i still got 2 beans outa the 5 left .
Damn, so gutted.

Better you have to lose 3 seeds than 3 flowering plant :) Sometimes shit happens, as you say, it can piss you off, but it could always be worse :)

If your grow cupboard is the other side of the wall, i'd consider taking it all down just in case they need to be drilling through etc.

Even if they do root while he is doing it plants arn't noticeably cannabis for a while, failing that store at a friends house?

i will update this thread in a while and let you know if it has worked or not.I know if they had cracked there would be no chance, but they haven't even cracked yet..so maybe just maybe theyll be ok

Do u not have a caring friend that can look after them until work has been carried out........dont need much looking after for about 2 weeks.

i have a couple sitting on my windowsill, it works great, maybe too cold where you are though but i have one popped already with a taproot

Three seeds?

Those should be trivial to hide.

Until they sprout, you have nothing to worry about.

Once they sprout, just stick them in soil-filled cups in a small box or cabinet with a CFL and a lock on it, and make sure the light is only on when you're around.
Seedlings don't "need" continuous light, and on/off lighting won't hurt them.

If I were you, I'd be a LOT more worried about the grow area than a few hard to find and hard to recognize seeds. Make sure you take THAT down, or you may really find yourself in trouble.
