man i love these plants. they are inhaling the nutes. last grow i had so many problems with nute burns and deficencies and what now. i have them at 1600ppm with 0 nute burn and 0 deficiencys! ive only had one problem so far and that was in the beginning with some ph flux. i think they have past the stretching/ supporting phase for the buds they are about to soon produce. WOOHOO! Thanks FDD for stoppin by. Oh yeah anyone got any good ideas on how to lower humidity without buying a damn 200 dollar dehumidifier?
Upping your exhaust is the only for sure way to lower rh. Lowering ambient temperature will decrease transpiration. but in order to do that, you need to... increase your exhaust. good luck

true i feel ya. ive got 270 cfm on 288 cubic feet flowing out of the room. also with airconditioning. guess i might just have to step up and get a dehumidifier. my temps are always 67-78 and rh hangs at about 55-60. i just want it around 35-40

55-60 rh isnt too bad. But its right at that threshold. Too close for comfort. And your temps are on point as well. Shit man, the dehum is lookng to be the only viable thing to do.

thats what i think. i mean im changing my air every minute, and exhausting it out of the room. just think with that much vegitation and 40 gallons of water in the drum the hum will just be high. might as well fork out and get one. they are really useful.

Check out walmart, maybe you could put it under the shopping and they might not see it when you check out. I do this with cases of beer all the time. Literally like every other day

hahahah...reminds me of how my brother used to just use his gas card (which he doesn't pay for) to buy beer...lol

yes yes it does. that is a really good idea tho. but a dehumidfier is a little bit more pricey than a case of beer, ya know?

I hear that. My landlord is thinking about letting some of her properties foreclose, so I might be moving again. She's older but I think if I could bang her a few good times she might keep this townhouse I'm in. Sleazy, I know, yet I don't really give a shit haha.

Man my grow area is so hard to get to, even I don;t feel like going up there sometimes. It's in an attic and the only attic access is in my closet and I have so many shoe boxes piled up you can't even see it. Then I have to wiggle my ass between the shelf and attic door. Pain in the ass, but the stealth is totally worth it.

I made a shitty little enclosure out of cradboard, and pulled the glass off of my 600w hps. Keeps temps around 74-78 lights on, and I have a space heater that keeps it 70~ lights off. I'm saving my $ so I can fully insulate for the summer. I rerouted the HVAC ducting from one of the bathrooms so I can control temps from the central air/heat thermostat.

Dude I hate getting rolled! I got rolled by an early breaking 9 footer in guam. My girl was tweezing sand out of my shoulder for about 3 solid hours. I was high as fuck so I didn;t really care.

Hey BB,

I've been following your scrog for the past few weeks, man I hope you get at least 5 pounds, it's looking that way. This is so much fun to watch.

I think you're under doing it on the air movement. I'm using a 280 cfm fan for a < 100 ft^3 closet, and I use a 400 watt hps. That being said, I don't think it's hurting your grow cause it looks spectacular, just thought I'd weigh in on your question.

The scrog is 1 plant 16 x 24, the screen is about 10" off the soil. It's about 2 weeks behind yours, 9 days into flowering ;)

btw, i see you have air cooled hoods, what is the flow setup of your system?

I have the inlet pulling from close to the plant, straight into the inline fan, then the fan blows that air over the bulb in the cool tube and through to the outlet

Hahaha I know the exact feeling. There are certain stretches that help with that.

the carbon filter is up near the top of the room, then it goes to light 1, then light 2, then to the fan, and out the attic. 270 cfm. im planning on gettin a big can fan, just kinda broke at the moment. kinda waitin on this thing lol.
