Yeah panda film is easier to work with...I think mylar is badass when used properly though. I covered 3 2x4' thin pieces of wood with it and stapled it down, then taped it around the back edges...it keeps it from getting air pockets and gives you 3 movable sheets of mylar that I can position around my plants...and it also cleans up easy...I foliar feed so I'm always getting spray shit all over them, but I just wipe em down with a towel and they're gtg

see i always got streaked water mark stains on my mylar. but i see what u saying that would be alot more convienent to work with like that. both work great but if i had to choose im def with the panda. but to each his own right. what do you foliar feed with?

Hey Billybob! I just read your whole thread and I was wondering, (hopefully, I didn't just miss this information... if so, I am sorry for asking!) how far (inches) above the medium is your screen?

yo, whats the actually length in ft. that are takin up, i kno ur room is 9x4 but what is the actually dimension of just the plants them self?
im sry i ask these dumb questions just that im trying to figure out how many plants i can fit under, 1x1000w-hps--1x600w-hps and the sq.ft of the room for each??:joint::joint::spew:

do you notice big improvements with your foliar feeding?
Well, honestly I haven't used it enough yet to make a judgement call. But, I will say that I have talked to someone who has used it for a long time and they love it, and it also seems to work pretty well. It's not a miracle worker or anything, but it's supposed to allow the plant to absorb more light as well as give it some nutrients via the leaves.

Seeing as how you're supposed to spray up under the leaves, I think foliar feeding would definitely be a good idea for scrogging. You could just lay down underneath the plants and spray the shit out of em under there. I read it is supposed to up light absorption to the point where a 600w would be like a 1000w.

It makes sense to me...if the plants can absorb nutrients through their roots and their leaves...why not give em both?

Rucker- I think its the lowest at 14 inches int he front with the blueberries and maybe 16 in the back with the strawberries.

Beennoobed- I will get back to u on that one after I eat dinner.

And Livehigh- Yeah i just kinda realized that foliar feeding would be super easy under the screen. im just kinda lazy and broke at the moment. but i am ganna hit up the shop here in a week for some more nutes. might pick some foliar shit up. any good reccomendations?

I'd recommend the dutch master line of penetrator, max-fx, and folitech...use the full recommended dosage of penetrator but cut the fx and folitech in half...and you can mix all 3 together and spray at once...if you want to do folitech and fx separately for some reason you can but each need penetrator with it...(just combine em all)...ph that shit and spray away...twice a week for the first four weeks of flowering

Hey BillyBob88, I think you do too!

I've been taking notes and hopefully all will go smoothly for my scrog. I germinated White Widow and Ak47 seeds on Sunday, so I am setting up for the big grow. I'm waiting on some Bubba Kush seeds, but since I've never grown that strain before, it's probably best that I don't add it in.

I picked up some plastic trellis netting last year, but didn't feel I was ready to take on such a big job just yet. This is only my 4th grow, so I am still pretty much a newbie. But I like to do a lot of research before starting anything new and your thread has provided me with plenty of that! So now I can do something with that trellis that's been sitting in my workarea taughting me for months! :wall:

I only have 400w HPS and MH lights, but I hope that they will do the job. My circle light mover came on Friday , so now I can actually use both my lights at the same time and not have to physically move the plants about. And it will somewhat help me emulate your grow.

I run a slideshow of your pictures as my inspiration and I can't wait to get my show on the road!

Hope you won't mind my asking questions if I get stuck along the way...

Only spray when the lights are on. Don't mist 2 weeks before harvest. And use CO2 all the way to the end.

BillyBob, shit is looking amazing. Gotta love when you can't see the screen anymore! And I completely agree with your compare and contrast of mylar vs. panda film. I used mylar once, it looked cool for about a day, then the tiny splashes from my hydro bucket made it look all shitty. Tried to clean it: impossible.

Hahahahha thats awesome u look at my pics as a slideshow. i picked up wood trellis for my first idea. but then realized that the strips of wood are too big. what size are the strips of plastic on your trellis? i found a 50x4 foot roll of the fencing i got for 30 bucks at lowes.

Hey BillyBob88,
What I have is also fencing material, that I grabbed up at Walmart. I just now picked it up and measured the squares. They are only 1in, will that be too small?
Thanks,
P007

add to sublime's answer, im not sure if your suppose use Co2 all the way through, natural co2 of course but if u use any sort of additional co2..ex: burner, co2 tank... you suppose to cut it off for the last 2 weeks, and foilar spray you should stop with in the first 2-3 weeks due to bud production, sry for the debate here but i think i could be correct!
