Looks like when I through a piece of fish in a pan (towards me) with the oil at just about flame point and splashed the oil on the back of my index finger....middle of dinner rush, just keep going

Yeah, never pop them. They pop fast enough on their own. The fluid inside is full of good stuff to help the healing...it is there for a reason. Plus when they are that big, they feel cool...till they pop.yeah dude... that thing is friggen hideous. I normally let them just slowly heal down, and dont pop them... but I think one as big as the one you have has to be popped
