I need a little help with my setup...

First off, I want to apologize for the lack of pictures - my camera is on its last legs and not performing, but I'll try and explain the situation in detail.

I am growing two plants under a cute 150 HPS, so far so good, and they are just starting to show preflowers. It's been about a month and a half since they broke ground, they are about 13 inches tall, and I want to start flowering because I don't want to have two monsters on my hands by letting them veg longer. I have an open-air setup: my light is attached to a frame, the plants sit underneath, there's a fan circulating air, but otherwise the plants are open to the room. Obviously this isn't ideal for flowering because of light, and I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to cover the frame with? I can't track down panda or mylar, and I'm on a bit of a budget. I was thinking of getting an opaque tarp or something, but wanted to get some feedback.

Eventually I'm going to try my hand at constructing something stealthier (dresser box) but for now I need a "quick" solution.

Thanks all!

I have heard foil is not good to line rooms, I have no idea why. You may want to experiment with it though. White poster board works for reflectivity but I dont know for sure if it will stand up to the heat it may be subjected to. With (1) 150 you'll prolly be fine...

I dont know how tight the budget is but you may be able to find a piece of duct or a metal pan of some sort at home depot to make a reflector out of. It might be as simple as drilling a hole in it for your lamp holder to go through. If you have some cash I would explore this options first as you may find a better more permanent solution.

you can use a tarp but mylar or panda is better.
in a pinch you can use the silver sided insulation board at homedepot its cheap but not as good as mylar. but you can just lift off a panel and get to your girls.
or go the easy way and get a 4x4 tent on amazon for $90

You're totally right - even though the nearest two supply stores are on backorder for panda, I could definitely find some online. I suppose I just wanted something that looked a little less conspicuous. If I set up my frame in the storage closet, and it's covered with a tarp it looks exactly like stacked boxes, but I worry that with panda it would draw more attention?

Hmm.
