I NEED TO STOP VERTICAL GROWTH

Okay so I have a tent grow (I did my first set in a closet and upgraded). In this tent I have 4 plants, I have two Sour Diesel Auto's, one LSD-25, and one ChemDawg. My grow tent is 2' x 2' and 4 foot high. I NEED to stop vertical growth at a relatively short height. Any ideas?

Just bend them or nip the tops off.

You really should look into cloning if you're space challenged.
Even my shortest clones came from mother's that were three times taller.

I top the clones at least once every time.

I grew auto's indoor one time. Having grown from clones for years, auto's are a waste of effort, money, time, and space.

I had some 10" plants, some 36" plants..... Can't have that in a micro grow.
Trying out a variety of auto's..... Might as well just take a variety of clones and KEEP those 1/10 mothers.

I only grow autos, about 5 so far, none of them would have fit in a 4ft tent. My current one, a Jack Herer auto is very light sensitive, my QB is right at the top of my 180cm tent.
Just being realistic here, autos in a 4ft tent, can't see it myself. I'd either buy a new tent or look at some of the smaller dwarf type autos.
Good luck!

It probably won't help you much at this point, unless you are able to do it immediately, but definitely look into a taller tent. After hangers and getting some space between light and plant, 4 feet doesn't leave much room at all. You would probably have to rush every flowering stage and keep all the plants relatively small.
Amazon has a massive variety of grow tents and you can buy a 2x2 at 55 or even 64 inches. (Quality of the tent varies, but I'm never too disappointed)

That extra 16 inches could, and will, make a huge difference.

You need a 3x3x6 (at least 5ft). 1 foot off the bottom for the pot height, almost a foot off the top for the light to hang leaves you with 2ft of growth area and you still need to factor in canopy height of 15in (est) so now you're down to about 9in of growth space...get a bigger tent.

They are autos. Technically you just need lights, nutes, and medium assuming odor isn’t an issue. I built a 4 x 4 open top frame lined with 6 mil Mylar and grew in that. Good luck
