the way i see it...and yes im going to quote south park...is that you have 2 choices...a giant douche (obama) or a turn sandwich (mccain)...at least the giant douche is clean...maybe not ideal...but better than the alternative.

Agreed there... When you look at any of the choices in a political election, you have to be able to ask yourself which of these is the lesser evil.

I dont always agree with what Obama has to say, and I dont honestly like the "feeling" that I get from him when I read about him and see him speak. On the flip side, listening to McCain makes me think of my dying grandparents. The man looks like a porcelain doll, ready to shatter into a million pieces as soon as someone touches him. And if he dies, where does that leave us? Palin?!?! Horray for Playboy. They'll have their first centerfold President. That's about all she's going to be good for. I hate listening to McCain speak... It's roughly the same intellectual banter that we all hear from Bush when he has the nerve to open his trap.

I had the right to vote during the last presidential elections, and I chose not to. I was ignorant, and immature. I'll be voting for Obama, but only based on the fact that he is the lesser of two evils.

Makes me want to move to Switzerland... no one ever fucks with Switzerland. :weed:

I almost think that since the US HAS TAKEN ON ITSELF TO BE WORLD POLICE, it should allow the citizens of the WORLD to vote for the next US president...

After all, whoever gets into office, will affect the lives of all people on Earth...

As for wishes...

I wish Aliens would should up at our doorstep, causing us to realize we are ONE RACE, and start living TOGETHER as ONE PEOPLE.... ONE LOVE...

Anyways... it seems like we are all fucked, for now anyways...

... who was it that said this on their sig...???

"if the people start to lead, the leaders will have to follow..."

I will finish with a quote by Einstein...

"Problems cannot be solved in the same level of thinking that created them."

Best luck to us all...

and yet your vote is worth exactly the same as mine! god bless this country.

Personally I think it's BS for us to be over there in the first place.... Think of this...

Do you give a homeless people on the street free food before you give food to your own starving child?... Americans are the country's children and we're over there fighting a war for people who never wanted us there in the first place... and as a result we loose father mothers sons and daughters with NOTHING gained.

I say pull out and let them kill each other and take care of our problems here at HOME first before we try to aid others.

Which president was it? Nixon?.. when we had that hostage crisis over in the middle east?.. I don't know of it was Nixon but I think it is.. maybe Regan?.. na Nixon... and he more or less said...(not in these words)... but he more or less said that they give us our people back or we were going to blow their whole f-ing country up.... I personally think if we're going to fight AT ALL that that's the stand we need to take.

Just my two cents though.

Do you not understand that if another war comes to "blow their whole fucking country up..." its going to start a nuclear war? The likes of which would not end likely for most of the world's population.

I'm not aiming to call you an idiot here, but that was just not much of an informed comment.

no no.. I didn't mean it in the literal sense that we need to just blow up their country.... but it's the mentality that we need to have...

point is that... we're not gaining any ground whatsoever by what we're doing in that country... what benefit have we gotten from being there?.. what I was just trying to get at was that we need to either pull out or have a more agressive attitude about what we're doing.

and yes... nuclear war no one wins
