I'll Think About Voting For Obama When....

How about the belief that we really aren't fighting anyone "in defense of our country" but instead fighting to defend multinational corporate profits which I believe is wrong. Why would I want to shoot people to defend haliburton's profits? I don't understand why that is something I should do.
K when a jihad extremest fucks you in the ass on your own bedroom floor it will be because you cut your defense budget and wanted to give everyone kisses and hugs. You have it made so well and sleep everynight in peace you forget what you have. To say that all my Marines died for some corporate scheme and money I will pm you my actual address and I hope, I hope that you will one day come to my house and tell me that to my face, or any othe combat vet you piece of shit.

Just a tiny bit hyperbolic huh?

BTW as a Marine, i disagree w/ ya on most of your points. Our involvement in Iraq or Afghanistan is hardly keeping the OP from being raped in his home by a Haji. Just exactly how are we protecting the omeland by being in Iraq or Afghanistan?

very good points you make...I was thinking on the terms of actually serving to protect not invade...The Iraq war serves you well in the points you are making...again I was thinking in the terms of protecting.
As far as I'm aware, the military doesn't give you that choice when you enlist. If we had some real threat like the nazi's it'd be different. But every war we've fought in the last 60 years has been a war of choice, not necessity. We are a bloodthirsty country. If we had a national defense I'd agree with your original point, but we don't. Instead of a national defense, we have a national offense.

I don't think occupying middle eastern countries makes us more safe, I think it makes us less safe. Bombing and invading isn't the answer to every problem.

I'm sorry that offends you, but it's the truth. I'm not blaming you or your marines for it. That wasn't your bad decision, but that's what happened.

Do you really think it's a coincidence we invaded Libya but not Syria or the sudan? It's not. Iraq wasn't an accident either. When we invaded Afghanistan the first thing we secured was the place of a proposed major natural gas pipeline.

We routinely invade countries that have huge business potential. That's what we do. I don't blame you for that, but I'm not going to ignore the truth about the purpose of our armed forces. It has very little to do with making us safer, and has a lot more to do with insuring future profits for energy corporations.

You really shouldn't be pissed at me for saying that, you should be pissed at the people who made the decisions to use our armed forces for reasons other than national defense.

To many people are afraid of the world.
Hence the Patriot Act and the overseas adventurism, we have to make the world safe for all you cowards. (nice imagery RJ839)
When the Chinese are over here (they or someone like them will be) will you fight them?
No you will beg them for this and that.
This country is supposed to be a great experiment in self rule and republicanism.
We were never to give this much power to any one group.
We were never supposed to be the world police.
We are supposed to be a good example to be emulated.
Not waiving guns around the world telling everyone how they are to live.

But that's OK I will revel in the economic collapse that's coming.
I will Laugh as the US continues to expand the wars.
I will laugh when the Nukes are falling.
I will rejoice because all the wisdom of man has led us to this end.
Instead of trying to teach others to "do unto other what you would have them do unto you."

Ron Paul can't win. (most a pity)
So we can choose between one agent of the bankers or the other agent of the bankers. (Bankers, statists, war profiteers)
Or you can vote for the ONE person who will end the wars and bring our troops home.
The ONE person who will end the patriot act.
The one person who wants to have the debates on the important issues of freedom, social safety nets, drug laws etc.
But no he can't win, they say.
What they are really Saying is telling every establishment doners and all the brain dead cowards amongst the voting populist.
"He can't 'be allowed to' win."
Because they will lose their grip on governmental force.
All the cowards afraid of a few stone age level mountain men on the other end of the world will vote to maintain the killing.

I love how we told Pakistan if their nuclear weapons looked unsecured if Al-quida attempted to steal them we would secure them.
Now China is saying we must respect Pakistan's Sovereignty, or they will take action against us.
So Al-Quida now knows that if they can scare you cowards enough by attacking Pakistani military bases.
They can start a war between China and the US.
Play a little game of lets you and him fight.

Bring our troops home stop spending to maintain military presence the world over.
Defend our borders, stop bailing out failed institutions, balance the budget.
Secure social security for those dependent on it, let the rest of us out if we want.
Embrace human freedom now or lose it forever.
If Obama is elected (or any other Republican) we will have WWIII imo.

China is painting us into a corner as we painted in Japan prior to WWII.
When our currency isn't worth the paper its printed on (opps it already isn't) and all we have to back up our currency control is our military.
What do you think we are going to do when we can't buy the resources we need in this country?
I think the US gets to play the role of AXIS in this world war and we have six months of victory before the world turns against us.
When China occupies us we will richly deserve everything we get.

If it comes to the US being occupied by a foreign country, surely you won't just lay there and take it on the chin?

Everyone should serve at least two years serving this country (except for special cases such as physical or mental disorders or religious beliefs). .
Oh hell yeah! Indentured servitude is a wonderful thing. Oh wait a minute ... we have to deal with that pesky 13th Amendment first. It not only outlaws slavery, but indentured servitude as well.

I don't think he was implying everyone should be forced to do it, just that they should.

i agree, except, he doesn't need to picket with us, if he does the aforementioned and those bankers need to be brought to justice, and those who set up the provisions to let them become deregulated have to be fired for their neglect of the American taxpayer.

but im still voting for him, hes done as good a job as any president could i would say, lets be honest here.

THIS GUY WAS FUCKED WHEN HE WON THIS ELECTION. and with all the unrest in the middle east, he has no luck at all. he got his ass pounded again and again and tried to be some bipartisan pussy instead of utilizing the majority he had in the senate and house. politicians... its such a conflict of interest voting for them, we need Statesmen.
