Def. find a secluded spot if your going to start. And I'm no hater of miracle grow nor do i support its use but I'm pretty sure theirs a thread for people that use MG only so if ur looking for positive feedback with MG go there personally I'm a hempy man so I just use 100% Perlite...if you want look into it: Hempy Buckets. But you should probably look for a good spot where you know you won't have to worry about much accept nature & it's bastard friends lol
Yeah I plan on finding a good spot to hide my plants and hopefully I'll do some LST to keep them down and not growing straight up into the air.

I'm still looking for suggestions on what nutes I should look into for when I need to start feeding my plants.

About 6/16 of my seeds have germed, and it looks like another 8 or so are going to germinate so I took the 6 out, and put them in some soil, and they are now sitting under a flouro.

I'll leave the other 10 seeds to germinate for another day or so to see how they do.

you'll get the best results using a 3 part feeding program... one that has specific veg nutes, flowering nutes, and a 3rd part that you use the entire program... 2 part would be second choice... MG/scotts would be last choice... you can also get soil additives that you add yourself if you want to go that way... i guess ill say it like this...

IF YOUR PLANTS ARE CLOSE AND EASY TO ACCESS AND MONEY ISNT AN ISSUE - i would use a 2 or 3 part system... best results... the BC line is good (technaflora.com), general hydroponics is great (dunno their site), and fox farms is also great

IF YOUR PLANTS ARE CLOSE AND EASY TO ACCESS BUT MONEY IS A PROBLEM - use MG or scotts at 1/4 to 1/2 strength... good results.. just run a risk of nute burn if you dont pay close attention

IF YOUR PLANTS ARENT CLOSE AND YOU WONT SEE THEM FROM DAY TO DAY - get some soil additives... guano is my personal fav... or a time released style nute... but remember MORE ISNT ALWAYS BETTER

any other questions bro?

I always like to stress this if you can find a hydro shop near you try and go there it is always so much easier to deal with when it's right in front of your face, you can always pay in cash and in my case the 2 that I have been to actually having given me some crazy discounted prices like i bought the trio GH Flora pack and a giant bag of horticulture grade perlite for $40...maybe I just got lucky, idk. But it's always worth a try and personally I like GH Flora but I have seen Fox Farm used with great effects and one that I have heard about not tried is bud blood....

Lst is a good idea as well if you want you can always fim first then lst you get more main colas which is always a plus+

Most likely it will be the second option.

I will probably have tons more questions about sexing/harvesting once I get further into the grow.

Me and my buddy both germinated seeds separately, and he started a couple days before me, so his have already sprouted but mine have yet to sprout.

Hopefully by tomorrow they should sprout. :D

I don't think I have one of those stores around me. I live in Vermont, so it's not that urban.

What is "fim"?

I want big colas, and many of them.

FIM is a cropping technique... since your just starting out i wouldnt worry about it... you need to crawl before you walk.... learn the basics over a couple grows then start looking into different techniques of cropping... same goes with the LST... i wouldnt worry about it until you get the basics down... if your worried about plant height you can bend and tie the plants down... its the easiest way of controlling vertical growth, doesnt stress the plant out a lot, and is the simplest way for beginners...
