I am disgusted with the way Saudi Arabia deals with human rights, but its nothing new sadly. Just so you guys know, the Islamic faith in general does not support the depicting of animals in picture form (specially swine), that might help you to understand how offensive it is to some Muslim's of strong faith to have their Prophet named after such.

That religion has got to be the most insane of the lot. The people that follow it are complete brainwashed idiots.

They hang a chicken upside down, then cut it's throat and start praying while it slowly bleeds to death... halal... this somehow makes it all ok... fooking mental.

The Sikh's won't eat cows. Muslims actually laugh at this. Yet Muslims don't eat Pig... fooking mental.

This kind of a statement is quite offensive and shows little compassion or attempt at understanding. Big part of the reason for the divide between our two cultures is that our people frequently come out with statements such as that one above right there. Islam is a wonderful religion and has many things in common with Christianity on an idealistic level. Fundamentalism on the other hand is bad in any form, be it a devote Christian bombing an abortion clinic, or a misguided Muslim bombing a cafe. I suggest you travel a little more and keep an open mind, you at least have no excuses living here with free choice as you are. I don't support Islamic terrorism or anything, but at least they have the "excuse" that they were brainwashed, whats yours?

Just want to add that all religions have their peculiar cultural aspects. I went to Church once with a friend, and i found it a bit odd that you eat the blood and body of Christ, but I would not call you guys barbarians for it, its symbolism and culture and its part of what makes us human.

Yea I certainly agree with you, I just am trying to point out that we are blaming the religion, when the problem is the Sudanese or Saudi Arabian regimes (Shar`ia). They take something pure and good and take it to extremes.

Hey, i got nothing against your religion. I think all religion is stupid. I think belief in a god is stupid... hence the mohammed and the little piggy comment. I don't care... what's going to happen? Will I go to hell? I didn't believe fairy tales as a child, and I certainly shall not as an adult.

I think it's especially stupid when a woman can be arrested and serve time in jail for calling a teddy bear mohammed. Especially stupid that a lot of muslims believe she should be killed for it.

This means my mind is closed? Closed to what?
