don't listen to his input, he has never grown with LED's. In fact, if you check his post history, you can tell he just was looking into lights as of February this year. (the most accurate post in regards to LED's I found was right above mine that most grow companies will tell you to use the LED's as a supplement to other grow lights, this is what I am currently personally expirementing with)

the guy goes aroudn posting like a veteran when at best he is giving advice based on things he read, or "remembers reading" (as you can see he couldn't even back up what he said about the LED's)

I saw the guy post very rudely in F4t4lShots thread and looked at his profile and just laughed when i realized he is just some asshat who thinks cuz he read a lot about growing he can give veteran advice when in reality its pretty clear he just started this year.

that said i'm probably a bigger newb, i just dislike "know it all" arrogant tones that really shouldn't be sayign shit like they know and experienced it, all he did was read.
zomgosh ive been found out!!

sorry for trying to help people who try to grow 3 plants per pot and/or are thinking about trying to use LEDs as a main light. show me a successfull grow using LEDs start to finish because i have yet to see one. maybe theres a reason for that?

as for the rest of your post, whatev. im not going to hijack the thread. i post to try to help people out. sometimes i fuck with people too. f4t4ls thread was funny and i was mostly jk. other than that 99% of the time every post i make is to try to help someone out, using knowledge ive attained from 1st hand experience, or gathered from other various sources that i have agreed with. its like doing a math problem. if i see a problem like 2+2=??? I know the answer is four. I dont have to go into my refridgerator and take out 2+2 apples then add them out to see how many i have. if you like we can try to figure out why your plants are all stretched and scrawny and have curling leaves. OH WAIT... LEDs. prob solved. no charge on that one.

lol, like you have a fucking clue what you're talking about (for instance the stretched ones are because i only have 250w MH for 6 plants and they don't have LED's on them, the leaves might not be attractive on the girl with LED's but if you're saying she's stretched you're a fucking retard, she's got a crazy amount of bud growth compared to the ones without LED support, if anything my grow is showing that LED's supplementing HID is clearly beneficial)

go back to playing the witcher, at least you're probably good at making the pixels put out

I would agree that leds are definitely a beneficial supplement with a hid of any kind:blsmoke:

HPS does not need a worthless (wait overpriced) L.E.D as supplement. L.E.D is a hustle with shit harvests. $1800 for 300 watt L.E.D? Give me a break.

LED s are good for vegging, seedlings and clones . In flowering it may take an extra week or so to finish. Always put cfls beside the plants for better lumens. I have a UFO but im going to switch to a 250w HPS. I may even combine them, that will be crazy.

How is it that people are still arguing this LED crap when there STILL are not ANY pictures of an LED only grow that is not shit?

Well I have to say I have seen some led grows so far and I was dam Impressed
. I came from CFL grows then switched to MH/ HPS 600 watt set up and The difference in the color and Bud tightness was so much improved .. Led grow lights I think will be the future There is still work in progress .

The only thing I have seen is that the buds seem to be light and Fluffy like CFL`s . But Dam impressive from what I have seen... so far compared to the Blinding light of a 1000 watter or even a 600 Just amazing . So led will be improved and Thinking it is the new wave soon. Just my 2 cents on new and advanced technology

I was also considering the use of LED lights with my grows but a little hesitant at the same time because of the amount that I need to spend. I have doubts in using such fixtures because I have read in some forums that the LEDs are not efficient and beneficial to plants as they seem. Anyone here who has experienced very good results with LEDs? Please share us some great thoughts, thanks :)

well its been a week... the plant still looks very healthy... but has not grown at all. im not 100% if its only to do with the light provided, could also be due to the fact that the led puts off no warmth at all and its been fairly cold here.

FUCK LED only grows... they may be good as supplimentary lighting, but from what ive seen over this one week, theyre shit.

I've got a pair of red and a pair of blue and they work "ok" for vegging but they are crap compared to my 1,000w HPS. When I lived in Georgia, heat was a major concern so LED's during veg did the job fairly well without much heat.

I have only ever seen dense flowering and yields of 2+grams/watt with The StealthGrow series: the SG602, 1202, AND 1250HO. I used them in constructing a recent space and have a couple extras at wholesale price if anybody is interested. Contact [email protected]. ONLY 2 LIGHTS AVAILABLE
