Update! Been a few days, wanted to wait for some little flowers to start showing. Day 16 flower. Not fully there but I expect some serious budding here soon. Grabbed a Xj-13 clone (Jack Herer x G-13) from the Oaksterdam Nursery. Romulan and seedlings are doing fine. Mako Haze has been doing work to get above my zipties :) :) Anyways, leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Gotta love it :) One can never tell when you see them every day, but with a journal like this you really get an idea of how fast they're working. I just broke two weeks in flower and all signs are pointing to a decent terminal weight. We'll see how long the ripening takes for these. This grow is pretty sativa heavy so I have been pre-adjusting for 9-10 weeks thus far. These are acting like 8 weekers!

Looking awesome for just day 16. The hallmark of a clean hydro grow.

I'm jealous of your perfect, tender leaves since you have much more safety space from your light.

All your setup shots are super clean. Love it.

Haha thanks man :) I'm jealous of your metropolis of skyscraper colas!

As for my girls, I just went in and checked them this morning. They have reallllly perked up since last night. Those pictures were taken right after swapping nutrient solution in my res. Giving them half synthetic (botanicaire CNS) and half organic (Mother Earth super-tea) with a whole messy slew of other goodies mixed at 1/4-1/2 strength (Fox Farms solubles, Great White, Liquid Karma, Sweet, Snowstorm Ultra, FlavorFul, and a few others). It's been tricky getting my PPM and PH right, especially with the snowstorm, but I've dialed it down pretty good. Keeping everything in the window for success :)

Anyways, thanks for the feedback. I'll have some more shots in a couple days when they start to get some swelling on :) This is where things get fun

yo man just had a wee read through ur journal. must say top quality stuff,
glad to find a good ssh grow, av got 1 from gh going the now in week 5 a think, honestly they grow massive......really massive!!
hope uv got lots of head room, mine (1 in the avatar pic) has grown to 6 1/2 foot + pot. av had to bend like a foot off the top

Haha, right on!! My SSH is nice and squat at the moment. I didn't veg extensively and I use bloom additives to keep them short and bushy for the early staged of flower. Packs on lots of nodes this way. Bout to upload a few new pics here in a sec. I'll make sure to get a SSH macro.

Here are a few new things going on in conjunction with my grow. Me and a buddy are starting up a few mothers in soil. We're going to crack a few more killer strains tonight, to include some Third Dimension by TGA subcool.

Anyways here are some clones that will be flowered in a few weeks under their own light next to the strawberry cream. Mendo purps in the back, Day Dream up front (Arcata cutting- Teen!)


Here's the seedlings. We're hoping to pull two different female phenos with the Chernobyl (duh :-P). 2X TGA Subcool's Chernobyl, 1X Island Sweet Skunk, 1X Hawaiian Snow. Boooombs. You will definitely see some individual strain grows coming from cuttings out of here. Nothing like a legit clone source, from the seed, from the breeder.





And here's the Strawberry Cream that disappeared from my journal a bit ago. Sitting under her own 600, happy.



Back down the street at my house. Day 20 flower here. Everything in my veg box is jammin. In my flower room, the Jack the Ripper started locking out nutrients during some PH issues I was having. Something in my PH down or water source is causing my reservoir readings to rise by up to a point overnight. I've fixed this through pre-mixing and re-PH a day later. From there it seems to level out. Anyways, everything else is is looking solid. Here's some bud shots. Getting a tiny bit sticky :) The Blue Dream smells like sugared blueberries and sour candy. Loving it.

Not a whole lot, no. This A/C is meant for supporting a small room, and nothing more. At that rate, it only needs to be ran when the lights are on, as the fan and house's central A/C take care of air scrubbing at that point. A dedicated A/C is something that every grower should invest in to if they ever break 90 degrees in their grow room. As a safe measure, I wouldn't even run them in the 80's and get one anyways.
