a 200 lpw LED is different from a 200 lpw lamp due to downstream efficiency losses ect ,and pushing that kind of power decrease bulb life alot? This thing could have it all.
In 18 months ill be investigating more,
A 2700k, retro fit kit would be neat!
(and the price is suposed to compete with flouro tubes!)

Wonder about heat? (I hate that led need cooling fans)
Are they tubular remote phosphor?
Will they make some BIG ones for growing indoors?

Pushing what kind of power? The LED can be pushed to 15W, man.... the 200lm/w is at a substantially lesser power.

You can drive almost 1800lm out of a single diode...

I bet he doesn't get anywhere near that. Probably get 7-8 lbs. At the most. That kind of plant set up. The don't get very big. Probably 10 grams a plant.

my thoughts as well...but HYROOT dont forget he's got those super duper coils which are supposed to double it up!! LMFAO!!!

It could improve yield some what. The same as playing music.
so the music in actuality is helping because of the magnetic field flux of the speaker magnets and coils? that is what you think?...I have tried music and no music and saw no notable anything other than I jammed out when tending to them...lol

Cause most here don't have or want plasma......

I ain't looked in awhile but.
600$ for the light 200 for new luck every 2 yrs I hear.
and lots of heat...

Not to mention it is very inefficient and its spd is lacking in the reds and cmh has just as good or better spectrum at a higher efficiency with more red content than lep or hps...even the lep purveyors recommend lep be used supplementally with hps due to its inefficiency

Although induction does not provide anything I want in my setups due to the design and goal of my rooms, they do merit use in different situations with different setups and goals than mine...lep is on its way to being something at some point like leds were just not there yet and as with all of these new tech the pricing structure is ridiculous at best.Believe me I am all into proper spectrum but hps with its horrible spectrum flies in the face of this view that "proper spectrum" is the end all as I have seen and smoked some awesome results grown with only hps and have seen not much if any potency increases of other lightings being superior in this regards but science is science so I have achieved very close to full coverage of the spectrums by utilising 13 different light sources of different lamps including uvb lamps and this approach has increased potency quite a bit in felt affects from usage as well as lab reports. This is also being demonstrated by the sudden admission and incorporation of full spectrum light now by led light manufacturers. Afterall the Sun was cannabis's light source for millions of years so to me it is apparent that all of it is utilized and therefore indoor lighting should incorporate all of it to get the best results.

LEP like led will I am sure get there in time but it will be a while and its pricing structure even longer before it is a viable alternative.
