Injustice in Palestine

I think we are in a very dangerous time globally. And any one of these dictators could pull the pin on the whole world.
Agreed, my bet goes to... Naw nvm lol

I wish everyone the best there and do hope that everything de-escelates and a suitable long term non-genocidal/ethnic cleansing solution is worked out. It is long past time.
Thanks for your thoughts, Hanimmal.

It is very hard to know what is real and what is bullshit propaganda that is being used to enflame our societies.

Most of the videos I have seen taken down in the United States is full on propaganda.
Yes, the videos I'm referring are of people's, in the streets w phones capturing real-time events like protests and arrests(like the first video of this thread, deleted).

Which nation's laws?

Those videos and media are what are ripe for manipulation. The platforms are being used as weapons, it is not necessarily the designers of the websites intentions, but the scammers who figured out how to con everyone first. Those videos are being funded by digital currencies (tips) that could easily be from foreign governments/hate mongers trying to manipulate people's feeds as they spam the propaganda around the internet using their militarized trolls.
Youtube, facebook, instagram all reside in the great US of A. The US gov has the ability to apply law on its citizens and corporations. Sure, it wouldn't be in the best interest of the USA to do though.
I agree, there's plenty of misinformation on the net. Again, just referring to actual footage of real time events. Not a mockumentary explaining how Obama is the devil or how trump is the christian savior or whatever the new story is.

It is horrible. I really hope that as a species we move past the need to murder one another.
Same man. It's foolish.. We have the tech to feed the world; why the fuck arent we sharing ideas and building a better future, as a whole??

Yeah it is a pretty sick game that you have to hope nobody wins.

I worry about the way those videos can be titled and the partial stories that they can tell to illicit real human responses to.

They only tell partial portions of what occurred and are highly weaponizeable.

I think it would actually be very much in the interest of America (politicians anyways) to ban every social media platform, but that genie is out of the bottle.

And currently we have a entire political party working hard to stop anything form being done to stop the attacks on our societies legislatively. And if social media sites end trolls, there would not be any content, so they have no incentive to change things.

The Wealthy White Heterosexual Male Only agenda is my best guess.

We need the absence of tech to feed the world. Every major industry is a huge consumer of energy and, one way or another, consuming energy kills everything in its path. Given enough time, all routes lead to death, then a simpler life. Someday, the concept of working in a large office building to perform some clickity-clickety computer task will seem absurd.

bingo! this pandemic has shown us we can work from home AND reduce our carbon footprint. companies will no longer have to pay huge rents to the Chinese for their office space. win/win.

speaking of which..who is creeped out by those new 'home buyers' commercials? you submit your house for sale and some Russian or Chinese gets to launder money here..nobody comes through to look, no hassles except the guilt of selling out your country.

Sure, the misuse of the word 'tech' was a mistake on my part. Let us replace it with the "ABILITY" but not the 'Willingness'.

you do realize the biggest US contributors to the nation of Israel are the Christians.
Oh for sure. Don't even get me started on the weapons we've sold them. Separation of church and state my ass, the US and Israel are tight little Jesus buddies, with bonus points for flaunting our relationship for the purpose of trolling the surrounding muslim nations.

I gotcha. You can't get anywhere when nobody even genuinely wants to do right by people. This subject always puts this little ringing sound in my ear though, because problems with things as basic as food usually indicate that the virus has grown beyond its environment and the environment is reminding them who's actually in charge on this planet. Then there's the flipside, where if you have the ability to help someone, why wouldn't you? But helping may actually be hurting in the long run without planned constraints on growth. It all just needs to be well thought out.

How long will it be before the Iranian's smuggle drone or accurate ballistic missiles to Hamas, all that needs to happen is for a accurate strike on the Israeli nuclear reactor and the world will never be the same,I actually can't believe that is hasn't been tried yet but it's probably on the horizon, think back to the attack on the Saudi oil fields, this shocked the west with its accuracy and the Iranian's also put ballistic missiles on a US base in Iraq that were also quite accurate. The days of the 90's military news conferences where our generals show precise targeting as a sole US possession are over and have been for a while. This is my main fear w/the conflict in Israel and it has the potential to be so horrific that it's not talked about Israel is a small geographic area and you don't need ICBM tech prowess to hit this reactor. This conflict has no end game to resolve it,long lists of legit gripes on both sides. Israel not willing to give up land for security reasons, unwilling to stop settlements etc . Palestinians unwilling to accept Israel's right to exist dooming any 2 state solution, many have tried to resolve and many have failed. What's next??? ccguns

If I'm Iranian, this target stands out like a turd in a punchbowl, only hesitancy is probably the question of the Israeli retaliation, bound to be fierce and possibly including a nuclear response.ccguns

A 100% mismatch, one hit on the reactor is the David vs. Goliath scenario and the biblical irony is glowing.ccguns
David v. Goliath was a one on one fight. This is three quarters of a million highly trained, well equipped military personnel against nobody but civilians.

About the media building airstrike 1 hour notice, and attacks from Israeli ground troops used as ploy to get Hamas underground. People do not feel safe in their own homes. Civil-unrest, neighbors are fighting each other in the streets. There are some efforts of de-escalation from some of the people, but at the moment both sides will continue their efforts. There's potential for Biden's public support to have a positive effect behind the scenes, pressuring Israel to stop.. well, hopefully.
