Iowa still with Reefer Madness

Hey guys here living in a legal state but will be moving to a nonlegal state

It’s going to suck majorly ☹️

Wondering how long the state of Iowa is going to keep up this nonsense of Reefer madness..

Getting caught with cannabis on your person or caught growing so much as a seedling
Will land you UNDER THE CONCRETE OF A JAIL OR PRISON THERE…

We could have moved to Missouri but then the wife wouldn’t be happy, and you know what they say “Happy Wife Happy Life”

(we are planning the wedding now)

Hell even here where it’s legal As soon as I got my rental property the landlord asked me about cannabis and I flat out denied that I used or Grew it…. Actually had to act like it was a scourge on humanity in order to get the house..
Landlord is one of those Church Goers Who has reefer madness and her husband is the bailiff for a sitting judge here in this county
And he has DEEP TIES TO EVERYTHING
(If you get my drift)

She said “if I so much as think I smell any pit you will be out of here faster than you got here” do you understand what I’m saying “

I said yes ma'am absolutely
(Like I said I had to act like cannabis was the worst thing ever or I would not have got the house)

So now that we are going to be moving to Iowa (at some point) near future, was wondering if anyone here was from Iowa and or another state that’s not legal who might have some insight into maybe any illegal states might have a silver lining to legalize.

But I absolutely will not risk our home or freedom to have cannabis..

Yeah you could drive across state lines and get it in Missouri or Illinois but then you run of risk of a roadblock or getting lit up coming across state lines and I sure as hell don’t want my life ruined by a felony

That is unfortunate, and so dumb.

I imagine the old christian dinosaur legislators need to die-off before it changes.

In states like that, small possession charges are severe, and used often to get kids into christian-based foster care. Seriously, one little f**k up, and they steal your kids and try to turn them into little brainwashed zombie christians. It's so scary that places in this country still operate that way.

You might consider Minnesota or Illinois. ;)

If they're going to say weed is damaging then they also need to publicly come out and say a massive chunk if not all of big pharma psych medicines are damaging in some way. I've been through all that bullshit been on all types of stuff went to hell and back and I cannot say that any periods of medication felt like they were actually good for me. I just felt neutralized. You're just run by the meds the same way you're run by anything else you take.

I just got my shit together and I don't take meds now I just smoke herb when I feel like it because I like it. The difference is that providers are getting big bucks to promote certain meds. I never had a good experience with the mental healthcare system they just throw some pills at you and don't take the time to talk about any of the real issues at hand which most of the time don't even involve clinical psych.
