Is a 2k watt LED enough for a decent yeild?

I'm jus curious if u guys think a 2000 watt LED light would b comparable to a 1000 wat HID light

Yeah what he said, read the description carefully. It might say what the actual wattage is. Post a link of the light if you can.

I just got a 480W QB with Lm301h diodes shipped to my house for a total of $363. A 480W QB will compete with a 1000W HID only less heat.

Good point there. It's not just power drawn that matters. The light has to have better diodes than those out of the Christmas tree light reject bin.

All I run are QB lights

I was thinking about the 2000 watt spider farmer one is anybody familiar?

I use 1 blurple around 240w actual. And one "full spectrum" around 100w actual. One was advertised as 1200w and the other 600w.

The sf2000 is 200 watts output. So probably good for maybe 5-6 sq. Ft.

Yes. Always check the wattage output. Sometimes the manufacturers only give amperage so multiply that by the voltage to get watts. With LEDs ideally you want 30-40 watts per sqft of quality full spectrum leds.

Well they never use to but after each member hyped it a little everytime i reckon its about the point it will out grow a 1200w de hid easily.

Real world though i see 600w hid growers destroy the 480w allday long.
