Is anyone flowering yet in BC

I'm in the Okanagan and I think I'm juuuust starting the tradition from veg to preflower. Anyone else close by starting yet? BTW my plants are indica dominant

I’m in the Lower Mainland and my plants have just started to stretch. Only one has shown noticeable preflowers (unfortunately it turned out to be a male - ugh). The others shouldn’t be too far behind!

I started 10 seeds from a breeder that promised early flower. Out of all those seeds only one made it this far it has been in flower since the end of July.

It really depends on the strain of plant you grow and how Many daylight hours remain so it could be different for you compared to me I am on depending on what parallel you live on.

I’m on southern Vancouver island.

I’m in the stretch and past the preflower, my outdoor clones had preflowers weeks ago. Western Canada as well, hasn’t been the best season for heat and sun. Hit and miss.

I hit pre flower on the 11th. Now I'm in mid stretch if I was to guess

Is pre-flower before stretch? I’m a first time grower. It’s been hard to tell sex until they really start showing multiple ballsacs.

In the Vancouver area. Had some pistils last weeks, I guess they're in the stretch now?

Yes. Preflower just let's you know the actual process is about to start. Then stretch, then they grow and fill out

Makes sense, thanks for the info. My other large plant is male too probably then. I wanted to post a “is it a female post” but there are so many of those and didn’t want to be annoying haha. I’m going to just separate it from the rest and wait a few more days to be sure. Luckily I have a few clones (albeit smaller) that I know for sure are female. Good luck on your grow!

When do you all do your last good strip? I'm thinking any day now?

You'll be fine especially in van.

I started flowering my outdoor plants over a month ago, move em into the garage every night. Spraying with potassium bicarbonate and neem every 4 days, its keeping the PM at bay for now but if I let them go until October I guarantee huge loses due to mold.

That sucks. What do you think brought mold on so early??

I’m by Seattle and just barely starting to show pistols.

I got PM very early on as well. Skim milk and water, 1-9 ration seemed to due the trick.

No my plant seems to be getting bright on the new growth. No sure what's wrong.

On the border of Oregon and Wash with nothing but stretching and out growing my pot here.
