I’m starting to see a lot of threads turning into a place of debate. Don’t get me wrong, there is a difference between right and wrong, and good and bad advice. But it seems like even good advice isn’t good enough anymore, and there’s always someone that thinks the good advice stinks, and their way of doing things is better. I thought this was a community of growers attempting to help others get where they are now. Offering help and the ability to skip the trial and tribulations that come with growing as a beginner through their experience. I sometimes find myself not wanting to comment or offer advice because it will be scrutinized or flat out told it’s wrong. Like I said, there’s good and bad advice, there’s definitely right and wrong ways of doing things, but when the debates start to take over the reason the thread was created in the first place, it kind of leaves a bad impression about who we are here, and what we’re trying to accomplish as a community of nice, pleasant, educated growers which I believe 100% of you are. What’s your thoughts.....

You are always going to find that in a place with so many voices. My suggestion would be vet the folks you talk to through their previous posts and if you feel they can help send them a PM. Threads are great and you get many different ideas coming to light but you can also just get a bunch of people that disagree with each other. Look at peoples posts, how long they have been here and grow pics they have posted. Happy growing.

I would think it should be both
Of course we are all here to help(well maybe not all)
But there is of course bad advice also, and to help someone is to correct that.
Now, sometimes its hard to say for some (including me) what is bad advice, and what is just a different style of growing.

In the end though, there is only one way to become better growers as a whole, and that is through trial, error, debates, experiments, and sharing experiences.

Are you serious? You flush? Wait did you just say in that paragraph that Halogen lights is the way to go? Screw LED and HPS?
Man I'm not trying to start some shit or nothing..just really?

On a serious note, look at Facebook. It's far worse than here. People for real wish for their relatives to die on there.

Nah there's really only one dude that stood out actually made me like damn lol
:o
Was it me? Yay..it was me. If it wasn't me, I'll try to be a bigger dick. Just need more excitement, send photos.

he said i needed a re-shoot with a macro lens. not sure if that's good or bad???
I myself don't have a panoramic lens..so I can't.

Also you would never be able to find it if it were that big of a pic.

EDIT: On second thought I need to use a panoramic lens and all the zoom.
