Is This A Female?? Please Look And Reply!

Hey everyone! Our one Sativa that is almost 6 weeks old indicated tonight. I do believe she is a SHE. I took close ups of the sites she indicated at. Please let us know what you think. The more input the better! Thanks guys!

I HOPE SHE'S A FEMALE!!! We have been calling her a her the whole time lol Sending her female vibes! Call us crazy but it just may have worked!

i dont believe its showing its sex yet, those are stipules, which male and female both have. Are you 12/12 yet? They wont show their sex until then, or unless you've been vegging for a very long time some strains show as well.

EDIT: Oh it looks like just new growth next to the stipules..

Hey MiniMojo... Thanks for the reply... I'm going to keep an eye on them however I know those two white looking "hairs" sticking up off the main stalk are stipules. They have been on the main stalk for WEEKS now. I have been veggin' them for almost 6 weeks. It will be six weeks friday. The Sativa is ROCKIN' and looks like a mini christmas tree. The Sativa is the only one that I assume is showing... I'll get more pics up in a few more days when I can tell if they are just new shoots or actually ovaries. They have been under contiuous 24/7 lighting for the entire time. I'm letting them show naturally. Then throwing them into 12/12.

I'm just curious tho... I've never heard that they won't show until you put them into darkness. I've been told putting them into darkness is FORCING them. But if you leave them under continuous 24/7 lighting indoors they will show around 6 weeks and you have a higher chance of them being female. This is a theory of course. I'm just experimenting as a newbie to see the results. Any more opinions on these pics and this topic would be great! Thanks man.

Just an update... IT's DEFINATELY A GIRL!! I got pistils like crazy now. No sign of male parts.

This one is a Sativa. I have a Kush as well that just produced female preflowers a few days ago. I'll get pics of them up here in the next 24 hours!

Im not seeing any sex yet IMO. Maybe if you rub her gently though. And do keep calling her a HER. Just bad luck otherwise.

These are all of the Sativa. She's 17 inches tall now!

Here's Pics of our other Kush plants. One is Orange Crush and the other one came from the same Orange Crush plant but came out completely purple! Her main stem and all branches are purple! It's gorgeous! I think it's Purple Kush because the one time I actually had smoked killer Purple Kush it was entirely purple like ours is. Stems, leaves, bud and ALL.

Thanks man! Yeah we did change it to 12/12 exactly a week ago today. It was definately time. I'll keep ya updated with weekly progress pics! So far 2 out of 3 are female and i'm pretty sure the 3rd is as well. No preflowers yet but similar characteristics as the other two. Damn proud of that since it's our first grow!
