Pres Biden & VP Harris Address Nation on 1/6 Anniversary, as 1/6 Committee Ratchets Up Investigation
In the past few days, there has been some justice synergy developing: Vice President Harris and President Biden address the nation on the anniversary of the attack on the US Capitol. VP Harris grouped together three dates that will live in American infamy: 12/7/41 - the attack at Pearl Harbor, 9/11/01 - the attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and 1/6/2021 - the attack from within launched on our democracy by a defeated president determined to cling to power unlawfully and unconstitutionally.
In his address to the nation, President Biden said, forcefully and directly, that January 6 was "an armed insurrection."
Moreover, Merrick Garland announced that all January 6 perpetrators, at any level will be held accountable whether they were at the Capitol on January 6 or not.
The House select committee announced that it expects Mike Pence to testify about the events of January 6.
