Yes, this is the original purple indica. It is small. I like this! :0)

I will need to clean it up, but it has four weeks more I figure.

Take care,

JD

In the process of losing my perpetual to the slime..I'm over dwc! Constant work..money..I'll be switching to top feed/drain pots, results that I've seen are unrivaled...and no risk of slime..
use bennies and no slime worries unless res is getting too hot! and even then the bennies will prevent it!

Man it sux that I cant get this strain anywhere!
I had a clone ob a strain labelled GDP x Blue Berry, and I got 2 or 3 seeds from her.
She was a surprise as she is a lot like yours, but I had her in a small pot and it was way too small.
I think the buds woulda been tighter if she wasnt starved so much.
Smell of chery cough syrup during flower, and after a cure creamy maybe mentholy cherriesor something fruity I cant describe. Really nice mellow high.
Maybe Ill pop seeds and hope for the best.

Yup. There is a thread here with a title that specifies this
problem....tried to find it.

The dudes there swear that adding more gunk, but the right gunk,
will lead to white-root-heaven.

Good luck,

JD

Sorry to hear that bro.

What did you get?

It seems that the slime is inevitably caused by anaerobic organisms
and that having a strong culture of aerobic organisms to prevent
this from happening solves the problem.

Good luck,

JD

because in dwc water is the medium the bacteria pryinthum that carries root rot is present 100% of the time.....however it needs the res to be warm so that it can take a foothold, as soon as it has it is virtually impossible to kill get rid off.....people use h2o2 etc and still nothing works.....

...other then the bennies, i bought into them after i had a bad case of root rot at the start of my last grow, i put the young seedlings in the sun not realising the water in the res would also warm up....after boiling the roots for a good week i realised my mistake.....i went and got the bio bennies and i shit you not within 2 hours i could see more white roots, in 24 hours all roots were white....in 48hrs i had so much new root growth you would never know i had root rot.....

bennies dont leave home without them.....

Oh, I had thought that it was an O2 related issue.

This is why, even though we see footage of all the marine life
in the tropics, that it is the northern, colder, seas that have
the most life in them. It is a matter of dissolved oxygen.

I am not a hydro-head though!

Hey,

I decided to take this little clone that insisted on flowering:

I only have one plant left hidden in the vegetable garden, but this
was a new plant, an auto from seed, and I want it to mature.

Take care,

JD

I am happy to read that you are on track with a plan.

I have yet to try hydro, but I will want to have temp control
of my rez as part of my setup. This will hold off my trying
this, but I need to move to the garage for that anyway.

Onward and upward,

JD

P.S. No laughing, but I popped one each of the four new
TGA breeds that (finally) arrived. I did mention the new
Purple Wreck and three of the recent HSO freebies, didn't I?

:0)

Plushberry, Jillybean, Ace Of Spades, and Vortex X Apollo 13

P.S. All are out of their shell and growing strong.

P.P.S. I finish Week #5 today. I will open the tent early and
take a few shots.

Interesting...I will look forward to trying it.

LOL! I looked at its genetics on seedfinder and saw a funny misprint:

Pain staking care was taken in the male selection
LOL, "Pain Staking Care" Fuck!
