Nothing more fun than making your own crosses and having them come out a success.

Not sure about the CB

I am wondering who makes the real Tangie seeds?
At least 3 seeds companies have it as their own it seems.

That is a great question.

I read somewhere that "Tangie" is the regrown out version of
the old/original "Tangerine Dream" but I cannot confirm this.

Here's an interesting bit. I almost set my Tangie aside, as it was
just a tad under what I need strength-wise. Well, the LEC grown
version made the grade. Very nice. I will have to make some
crosses involving it.

The right light seems to make a difference.
I notice better buds with cobs compared to my HPS that I used since the beginning.

Where did you get your Tangie?
I wish we could try each others to see if they are the same

Well, the Operation Flying Clones is still in the works. :0)

I just need to confirm that I got a good C99 female.

I can add a clone of my Tangie. Let's see how this plays out
in the next few months.

JD

P.S. I wanted to add that one obvious idea that occurred to me. I am
going to make a point of hitting every female of any breed with the pollen
that I have taken from that breeds males. i.e. Why not make specific F1s
to play with later.

Time to select the females to use...note that I will want to hit every female
with every male, and so I am motivated to pop whole packs....and I take
another step to normal behavior. LOL I am reminded of the numbers that
I am running...I need to get back to reasonable numbers. :0)

On the topic of Dr Greenthumb seeds....Dr Who recommended their stuff....

Yeah, I like the looks of several of these....and they are being recommended
by growers who know....but the costs are out there!

I would love this list:

ECSD
Bubba Kush
Chemdog
Blue Dream
Headband
Trainwreck

(all as close to original as possible)

==> $900

Now, I am *not* going to add all the !!!!'s that I might normally, as this would
result in my getting a *pack* of awesomeness on every front.

I would have to be operating commercially to defend that expense.

I might get that ECSD after all. Time will tell.

(The Dank Team never actually stocking the DNA might help that happen ;0)

JD

P.S. I bet that SGs Bubba is as good at that one too. Gotta get up there....back
in the pink after a few paychecks bro, and I start next Monday.

Flying clones?
How is that possible?

You are talking about a lot of breeding!!

I am feeling like a waster with my seeds straight to flower and no breeding nor clones.

The plan is after this run is over to try to go perpetual since I have 2 tents. adding in 2 plants/clones into flower tent every 2-3 weeks when taking 2 out.

I have 3 seeds in cart and 5 freebies

Good call there Bass. I find that Barney's has surprised me a few times.

Their Chronic Thunder was Winning Strong and my bros have taken to growing
it (they often gravitate toward the easier/bulkier breeds). Their Vanilla Kush is very
well spoken of, as well as their Blue Cheese.

Now, their Pineapple Chunk was another keeper, strength-wise. I still have it and
that is saying something.

As to the flying clones, we have already chatted about my buying a clone-mailer
to send you a Cinderella 99...I will add a tangie. Why not? :0)

There are some people that dont like Barneys. I havent tried them, but their sale email got my attention.
Are those strains tasty or just strong?

I would love a clone of each!!
Ill send you some seeds in return if you like

Yup. I hit the lowers on three of the four tops of the first of Docs crosses that I have flowered.

So (BSB/CB X WR) X DW was crossed with:

Space Dawg (Area 51) == Blue Napalm X Stardawg
Chaka Khan (Bitchen Seeds) == LA Con X Chocolate Rain
Optimus Blue == Optimus Prime X Crystal Blue Persuasion

I also put some Space Dawg onto one top of my new Tangerine Dream.

That male spewed a giant pile of powder.

I am reminded again of Chimera pointing out how hard it is to pick
a father that will make daughters with big tits.

At this point I am happy to try new things.

I recall being very heartened to hear that Oldman (IIRC) was getting
requests for the Golden Crack I made. I am running one of those
now as well. That was the strongest female I have run, or nearly.

@GroErr how long must I wait before I can spray off a pollenated plant with H2O?

I just turned off the fan in the LEC tent and sat the DW cross apart from the
other flowering plants....I sprayed it off when I got home this evening.

But the TD was just hit and is sitting outside the tent.

I know that you answered this already....sorry. :0)

Onward and upward,

JD

DW == Dr Who
BSB == (Black Sour Bubble IIRC...a creation from WhoDat...)
WR == White Rhino
CB == I forget!
Hey JD, I recommend 3 hours after hitting them before spraying water, I've seen some say 2 hours is good. I just like to make sure it takes and that extra hour is not a big deal in the overall scheme of getting them to seed.

Thank you for the time Gro. I am glad that I left it on....just turned the fans off and had
it in the corner. I am only growing for myself, so if I learn the hard way then so be it. :0)

I have so many untouched plants that are the canaries in my coal mine...and they are not
at all showing pollination.

OK, here's another for the "Drive on the Parkway and Park on the Driveway" moment:

The word is "Pollen".

.... but then it becomes: "Pollination"

Now, there is no "the 'e' becomes an 'i' when adding a 'tion'" sort of "i before e" rule happening here.

So, why not "Pollenation" ?

I think that this stuff has always been a joke on the new people. :0)

The "American" English language is a joke.
Make rules and them break them all.

Right....sort of a mood of the moment, word-wise. "aint" is in the dictionary....now.

On Barney...they have much charm...I feel no ill will toward them....only know them
because of Attitude freebies. :0) Their Vanilla Kush sounds nice and I can personally
speak for Chronic Thunder and Pineapple Chunk.

As to beans, do not sweat that Bro.

All English is a joke in comparison to most other languages. It's one of the most difficult languages to learn, I know Spanish and French, both consistent structure and nowhere near as many rules broken. I was fortunate to have to learn English when I was 8 years old, new languages are super easy for young kids, not so easy for adults. When I arrived in Canada I spoke Spanish, only words I knew in English were in the Spanish to English dictionary I had under my arm. 3 months later I started school, 6 months later I was fluent in English. Try that when you're an old f'kr - lol

All true. This is part of why English enjoys the usage that it does.

I got a laugh from "The Hitchhikers Guide" when I learned that, in that
world, English is illegal for being one of the most subversive forces in
the Universe.
