He had already been questioned and released by the Swedes over it. Hillary pushed for them to reopen the case.
The infraction he committed was that supposedly the women did not know he was uncovered, which is a crime there; ergo, sexcrime. The women are not pressing charges.

They broke some serious laws doing it, and by doing so put the lives of many at risk.
You seem to be ok with there lives being UNNECESSARILY put at risk, but dont threaten Assange and that fuckstick private. They deserve justice. You seem to only care about the lives o people you agree with. The rest can die, you don't care...

I think what's extra funny, is those holding these two up as heroes also didn't pay attention to these same morons leaking that we actually did find WMD's in Iraq and spout "there were no WMD's in Iraq!"

The private isn't a hero in my eyes, but I do admit, I respect him. Not because he broke millitary law and not because he turned over classified information. For some reason I just do, watching our federal government over my lifetime crush the individual time and time again has made me somewhat jaded.
A out of control federal government is a friend to no one. I've watched them break laws for years and make a mockery of our legal system. As wrong as it may be, I find it refreshing when they get a slight taste of their own medicine.

Unless you can expound and include some verifiable facts. It is easy to claim they endangered the lives of US servicemen I could say that shit all day and it will make sense to you because you have been filled with shit by the private media for profit but it is still not good enough to justify the violation of due process. Julian Assange never violated any law that applied to him except for fucking two Swedish chicks consensually with out rubbers. Bradley Manning broke only military violations. He did this brazenly and has not apologized and now the world knows how the US state department operates in secrecy as an empire.
As a veteran infantryman myself, I do not see how soldiers who are deployed in combat zones can be in more danger just because the ill equipped, Arab speaking, barefoot and hungry, quazi-enemy quazi-combatants possibly have access to secret state department cables.

Nothing classified above the rating "secret" was revealed by Manning. It was carefully and methodically scoured for names that could lead to human endangerment but (admittedly) this was done by journalists, not diplomatic experts. The arguments that people were endangered are very specious. This should be deductive, the cables that were released are unclassified (by virtue of the fact that they were released) and therefore nothing new has to be revealed in order to investigate, cable by cable, for evidence that anyone who has been a casualty was a result of the leak.
They have Manning and he has been very courageous. He even wrote a detailed confession which withstands scrutiny for its consistency. I suggest you read it in order to familiarize yourself with the complete lack of a viable case against Assange. I would think it would not have taken 3 years for the military to begin trial on Manning since he has been so open. Seems to me that they are having trouble actually accusing Assange of anything.
