You can follow my thread about the closed loop that I'm making.. Theres many ways a Closed loop can work. Its debatable which way is the best.

You can dewax in open loop... but again... the process in my mind.. is sketchy at best. A closed loops system can run a jacketed sleeve on the outside of the material column to
chill the material and butane to subzero temps... ultimately solidifying the plant lipids and fats..waxes..etc...and please don't start with the "WAX" debate..

Still have to put the system through a pressure test. Waiting on a couple parts, but its going good so far.

Am I the only person on RIU that isn't pulling down a few hundred grand a year? I don't just go "well... its kind of a pain to clean, so I'll buy the $1200 closed loop system"

I get $1200 laying around, I got bills to pay down, or pay ahead on, closed loop can wait until I am making 15g's a week or more, but for my personal, out of trim from my personal grow? Open blast + brain....

More vac = lower boiling temps....

If your gonna open blast don't do to many cans befor letting it evap off and the vapors disperse a little...

And if you have any leftover cans don't do this
