But I don't think they are any more or less divided than they were last year. And no matter what 2024 is going to be another fight. The Republicans still have their current bullet proof house majority thanks to the severe gerrymandering and voting suppression in major states.

The Republicans are currently divesting themselves from Trump, he can't be forgotten, but they REALLY want him to be so that they can just pretend like they are not responsible for the attack on our democracy for their actions over the last couple decades to radicalize their 'base'.


I am looking forward to it. Watching them scramble to one of their Candace Owens trolls to try to own the libs when they start slipping against someone far more confident in their expertise from the Biden Administration.

The republicans are being setup for 2024 by the democrats and DOJ, if any of the political types are tried, it will be then and they will be last in line. 2023 also promises to be full of trials and investigations with Trump going down early and first. It might not matter to the base, but there is also demographic and generational change happening in the electorate. The democrats only need to win all three once to eliminate many of the GOP advantages and perhaps add two new states.

Jack must have this shit on TV in the background as he looks over highlighted transcripts about many of these assholes. Jack is watching too and looking for clues that might slip out, I'm certain many republicans in the house are on his target list over J6, or will be. He also must be thinking, "These clowns are going to try and investigate me for investigating them, ha"! :lol:

Sorry I got this far and had to stop to say, no, the Republicans set themselves up, and their years of obstruction is why it is being dragged out. The Democrats and DoJ had nothing to do with the things that the Republicans have been doing. Unless a couple here and there did because they are little Manchurian candidates, and in those cases fuck them too hope they are exposed to consequences as the rest.

Of course the republicans set themselves up, but the timing of the price they pay is important too and whether guided that way or not, the timing could not be better. Any delay was perfectly legal and within the prosecutors discretion, the J6 report was a good way for them to end the session with the DOJ hot on the trail. Everybody seems happy since Jack showed up, except the republicans who haven't said much about it.

Think Jack will take this fiasco in the house out of the news by indicting Donald? What will their reaction be when he does? Will we hear impassioned speeches about Donald done wrong? :lol:

Republicans obviously can't govern but they're great at sending out 'I stopped McCarthy' emails and fundraising up a storm.

They just broke the 1923 record of 9 votes to pick a speaker. And are headed towards the 1856 record of 133 votes, which was only settled when they changed the rules from a majority vote to a plurality vote.

Just think how much money they can fundraise from anarchist idiots with 133 votes.
I always knew money was more important than Hunter's laptop.

i sincerely, deeply, truly hope they can't come to any deal, period.
indictments are about to start coming, some of those people in the house are deeply involved, and at least a few of them will be facing some charges...
hopefully more than a few.
the composition of the house will change, and i don't think it will help mccarthy or the republicans...in fact, they'll probably lose their slim majority, and mccarthy's humiliation can be utterly complete.
i wonder if the house janitorial staff has his shit moved out of the speakers office yet? and into his new cell?
