Kratom from seed

I'm going to attempt to grow kratom from seeds to see the problem's and germination since there scheduling it. I have grown cannabis, coffee and many legal plants from the jungle. I'll update as it goes.


Today im sterilizing soil in the oven 170 for 30 mins to see if I can fight damping off. And I'll plant 5 seeds per container with a goal of 5 trees. There seeds from Malaysian and a pod a friend gave me of his Borneo. There around a Month old.

Unless you have enough space to grow a Kratom 'tree' don't bother. It needs to flower to get any goodness from it. I had a plant for two seasons and it got to be 6ft high but nada effect. So if you can do it outside I'd be interested to see how long it takes to get something out of it.

I'm thinking mostly as a spring summer outside plant
