Mr nice seeds didnt exist till about 1998 and all there parent stock was passed to them by nevil. All the nyc strains are hybrids were as nevil used pure haze plants to build his haze lines. Comparing mr nices stuff worked from nevils stuff and nyc haze lines dont really work does it as mr nice has worked all the lines in their own direction. Why wouldn't you compare the many different haze lines and seeds nevil put out himself. Most people like top dog known nevils seeds parented those nyc haze lines. There is nothing coming from nyc haze lines that ever looked like nevils pure haze plants, but the nyc haze lines sure look like stuff from nevils original seeds. Things like 5ac x hz c, 5sk x hz c, haze C 2 x a5, b x c, d x c, 5c, and many others got put out by nevil from 1986-1990 but not many seen them.

I was skeptical when reading it but as soon as I saw the picture I got a sense of nostalgia. I’m in queens and haven’t seen good have since my high school days …….fuckjn crazy !!!!!!!! That shit looks so good enjoy my brotha

And yeah I was skeptical too! That's also why I included the picture, because ive seen 1000s of posts online about nyc piff but not 1 single picture of it lol

Yes. Yes it is......youre talking haze thats been around since the 90s and has remained with a price tag of $400+ an ounce....today I can get an ounce for $300, but not because its not good....moreso because its not a "popular" strain amongst young ppl anymore. Theyd rather cookies or runtz or whatever.

But compared to other strains today, this shit is still like no other.

Some phenos are better than others of course, but a good pheno will be better than anything else youre currently smoking, no doubt about it.

Just stumbled on this thread today. Been searching for that haze since 2000's, ran Top Dawgs Uptown Brown and it was TRASH. Straight up hybrid trash, not even close to the original. Ran Bodhi's Bandaid Haze and it was TRASH. Straight up hybrid trash and not even close to the original. My opinion -- do not waste your time on shitty chucks hoping to find the legendary pheno.
I have finally found sellers with 'Cuban black haze' and NYC piff (piffcoast genetics) and its sounds like, by all accounts, this is it. I'll be picking up cuts without a doubt.


This is what bandaid haze did in my 2X4..I've never had to cancel a grow before bandaid haze.

Uptown was 'better' but it was not worthy of its name, and I will likely never spend money with either breeder again based on this experience, I was very misled, I was sold on a lie (not cheap either), and these breeders did a shit job of capturing the exquisite genetics of the Piff, Looks can be deceiving folks. This weed was nothing like the piff.

Stupid question

My plants are about 2 weeks old....1 is extremely small, but has its 1st set of leaves....ones medium sized with 1 set and more growing... And the 3rd has stretched and has 2 sets. All 3 of them have thin stems....when do the stems start to thicken? Ive heard ppl veg for 2 weeks sometimes but...

IMPO most people haven't really had it jersey or ny that's why they can't get the taste or smell right. In 2000 it was swag with the work redline bags around 05 it was past 145 up like I think 170 something I just know the older gentlemen played chess at the top of the block.. but anyway they always had brown or green but the block work was always better and I believe those days haze went the whole 16+ weeks more about the quality then

That's a lie, because they were flooding NYC with that shit for awhile. Shit that's all people knew back then, Sour and Purple Haze/Piff hence why dipset made a whole mixtape about it.
