Large Drooping/Sagging plant , Why?

So yesterday afternoon is when I noticed this 1 plant started dropping/sagging. What’s baffling me is if you see in the pictures the other 8 plants are doing just fine, it’s just this 1 of 9.
I thought overwatering at first but there in the ground so I’m assuming the runoff is good it’s never damp or swampy back there. Plus they all get watered at the same time and with the same amount of water via my pvc pipe irrigation rig I have going.

Todaythe plant looks quite worse from were it was at yesterday, there is slight orange discoloring in the leaf edges. Could it be a mag or potassium issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.AED37A42-0C62-43AD-945E-0DD8E6740900.jpegAED37A42-0C62-43AD-945E-0DD8E6740900.jpeg5DE382B9-62F9-4C55-A887-442354C948D4.jpeg71FD3A83-9366-4B47-8624-2F1EF3B19319.jpeg1BC48BD9-7566-4269-86AC-4AD866ECED5A.jpegEBE70F32-C1C4-499A-8538-BCE0CA37819F.jpeg

Hand water that plant directly and see if it improves. The symptoms are that of under watering.

Perhaps there's a clog in your irrigation system, or the ground is running the water away from that plant before it has a chance to absorb into the medium.

Idk I did water it on Wednesday by hand nothing yesterday and right now it’s pouring out and it looks basically dead . I don’t get it,
I’ll chalk it up to a loss unless miracles happen

Is that rot at the base of that stem?
I went out there after I read what you said and dug a few inches down and took a pic. Looks ok to me but maybe I’m wrong what do you think? It’s not soft or anything there no black stuff or mold of any kind. I initially thought that could be the issue as wellCC95685B-3B29-495C-BC4A-E5C0C5C49BA2.jpeg

Looks like it damped off
Anything I can do? I’ve certainly ran into that in my younger days with seedling but never with a full grown plant, this 1 in particular about 4 1/2 feet tall and about 2 months old. I’m wondering why just this plant but not all the others?
Could the roots from the other plants on the side of that 1 be smothering that plants roots. I’ve never heard of that but curious if that’s a actual thing.

it is apparent that the plant root system is fried. Could be rot or it could be a large beetle grub or other ground parasite?
You would have to mist it and place it under a large plastic bag or tub, it will perk back up. Might be able to save it if you keep it in a tent for a while

If it’s dead that sucks but I learned something new. 3rd year growing in the yard since Massachusetts legalized it. The next 3 days are supposed to be very hot, sunny and dry. Cross my fingers it peeks back up, if not should I remove it? Could whatever is going on underneath the ground, fungus, parasite etc etc start grabbing the other plants. Last year I did them in 5 gallon buckets, this year I decided to cut the bottoms off to give more roots growth and was hoping for bigger plants. Here’s last years pic is from mid September I wanted bigger and better hopefully I didn’t screw up, the buckets had there pros and cons . Did 1 plant the first year, 5 last year and 12 this year 3 of them being autos. 9C7A6435-6A27-4835-8614-372EA42E438F.jpeg6F66ED49-5927-4DD6-89E6-AA58FF80CE01.jpegE06A4015-EBA6-4513-A8AF-1DA3F699AF7E.jpeg

Right on man, I hope the alarms are audible and loud otherwise they would probably just wear a mask lol.

I had a buddy that had a pitbull guarding his weed and 8 foot corrugated steel fence. They just tossed a steak in the yard and took his plants.

Thing is even with video you will have a difficult time getting law enforcement to care about your stolen weed.

Very true, I did read about an incident in Vermont were police actually proceeded to charge a person with larceny for stealing plants. But again state to state , officer to officer and ya I have a Dogo Argentinos but I’m sure a steak would work on him to unfortunately. Ya the alarms are loud and go off in the house , so I’d be out there fairly fast. They would have to grab plants and leap 6ft fence quickly not to say someone motivated or dumb or a teenager wouldn’t try. And ya lol we’re all wearing masks now surprised there aren’t more bank robberies lately. Here’s my supposed guard dog lol Last year in October I couldn’t sleep thinking of theifs 1FD10652-F5AC-407D-85C9-D21066FB462C.jpeg I

Yeah not going in your yard for some weed. Here is my new guy at 6 months guarding the garden LOL. And yes the steak trick would definitely work on him, hell he would help you cut it down and ask for seconds...
