Leaf damage, looks like thrips? (pics included)

Hey guys, I'm almost positive it's thrips. Tiny brown bugs with wings.

I've attempted to cull them with sticky traps though new damage is arising.

My main concern is I need help on how to kill them all or prevent them from attacking?

can anyone offer any leaf sprays or insecticidal something that would slaughter them? Would that weird crystal stuff you put down on the soil work??
