Here's a update on my Maui Waui and Ak-49 55 days into flower 8 weeks tomorrow. Just replaced my air scrubber Cuz it was starting to smell outside of my tent but everything is looking good and hoping to harvest in a week or two. Been feeding them a little bit of Epsom salts still just to make sure it doesn't lack mag still but it's a little bit and every other watering. Once I harvest these hoping in two weeks max, I have two close of these both the same strains, im mainlining I'll finish vegging them for two my weeks to get a little taller than flip to flower.

Here's a update on my grow. I harvested the Maui Waui two days ago it's drying as I write this. Got a lot of airy popcorn buds at the bottoms of the colas they'll make good for hash butter and oils later. Hopefully the mainline clone of MW won't produce much popcorn. The Ak-49 still had to many clear trichs for my liking so I'm gonna wait another week max I think I'll check it today under the camera I'll take some pics of the trichs and post them asap. I'll post the final weight of the MW once she's all dry. Here's some pics.

The final weigh for the Maui Waui was 77.5 grams and the Ak-49 was 131.5 grams. Theyre both curing in jars and I'm letting them air out a couple times a day so I can get around the 62% for humidity. It's crazy how much more the Ak-49 yield I know it's a more yielding strain bit didn't think it would be that much more. I have two clones from those same plants and I'm gonna flower the ak-49 under the LED and the MW under the HPS. And see how they go. They're currenly vegging still under a MH 400w gonna veg for another week or two than flip to flower. They're mainlined and this is my first attempt at mainlining so I hope it works out well and doesn't produce to much popcorn bud. Here's some pics of the Ak-49
Dried it two days as a whole plant.

I hung dry them trimmed for two days.

I trimmed it off the stems weighed it, than put it into a container to slow dry some more to get ready to cure.

It's smelling pretty damn good so far, almost a fruity smell to it too, but pretty danky. Just hope I don't get the damn hay smell that's why I'm slowly drying it than once it stays around 65% RH I'll jarr it. Don't you get the hay/grass smell when you dry it to quickly? I've gotten the hay smell on my first two grows but I think it's cuz I dried them to fast, I want the smell of the strain to pop and smell like its suppose to and not like dead grass haha.

Honestly I always get the grass/hay smell during drying but when drying is complete it goes away. I have gotten the hay smell that stayed but honestly I think it was because the genetics just sucked everytime I have grown strong genetics I just dry it for 4 days (Colorado is super dry) and it's super dank and ready to smoke. I know I should cure it and I do but I start smoking the dried product 4-5 days later and put it in jars to finish what it has to do. So IMO genetics are the most important part. I dry in my basement and it's very dark in the room I dry in, that is important to dry in darkness.

Oh ok cool. My first grow was from bag seed and I seem to think it was white widow but Im not totally sure. It was pretty dry here in Alasaka but now it's warmed up so its back up to 75%-85% outside now. But I was drying the ak-49 whole plant for two days than trimmed and left them on stems for 2 more not drying in a Tupperware type container till it gets around70%- 65%ish than into jars and I'm just about to put all of the ak49 into jars. But like you said strong genetics don't seems to smell like hay, cuz I haven't really gotten that smell so far this round my 5th grow. About to but the same strain close into flower this week I'll keep updating on this tread. What are you growing and what in??

Here's some pics of my Ak-49 and Maui Waui Clones the Ak is under the LED and will be the whole time. They're 8 days into flowering. I'll keep updating every so often. Interested to see how the Vipar does for flowering the whole time under one plant.
