Led isn't agreeing with my plants

I didn't realise just how high the output was, I downloaded that light lux app, apparently its fairly accurate?
Under 4x T5s =100w 8/9,000 lux led at 4x the distance and 100w 40/50,000 lux, even at the maximum height the clones are still getting 20,000, and the plants directly under it 30,000.
The figures don't mean anything to me other than its bright as fk for not a lot of watts.

I encounter this issue in my pheno tent.
When I run it in colder weather, it's difficult for me to keep that room warm enough and the tent temps dip into the mid-upper 70's.
I notice a definite reduction of vigor which returns as soon as I can get the temps up.

I think its about right this time or I've not bleached them yet, this is the longest it's been in without any negative effects the plants appear to be responding well this time they're in the praying to the light position :-)

Edit... I don't mean Led in particular but I've always preferred the cooler end of the temperature range in veg, typically 24/25c max would be my temps in veg.

Ohhhh, not Again!!!! :wall: :wall::wall:Can't be running your plants under 75•f with led or they won't transpire for shite. They cannot convert all that Par to energy via transperation if there is none.
Above 75•f with oscillating fan. Magnesium, vdp'ish. Ect...
I agree with GBAUTO , throw ur MH on low. Zip up the tent.

Ive got leds and it's winter here now, both my spaces get to 64 degrees with lights off..never any problems. 75 with lights on

The light is not bleaching your clones. They are cannibalizing themselves whilst they root. I’ve seen some clones get really ratty looking right as they are starting to root. I have one right now that did the same thing. As I always do. I wouldn’t be concerned.

@GeneBanker I realise that that few leafs yellow but this was a bit more that , here's one but I've since binned the others that went under the led to begin with.

I should add they'd been in a fridge for 7/8 weeks, I've others that are fine but they went under T5s to begin with so they still look healthy enough.

Don't get me wrong. If it's just cloning in an Aero cloner or something like that, 68• is good. Keeps the water from getting to warm. My clones grow good at 65-70 too. Just not after they're planted.

you can keep cuttings in the fridge for 7-8 weeks?!
I'm not sure about how to help... But something tells me its not the lights in this situation. Just my gut feeling.

I grow auto's from seed to finish under 24/7 led lights always had best results for me. I hang 24 inch veg 12 inch flower never had an issue with heat or light burn or not enough light. I'm UK to my temps are 21c currently, happy growing.

O
I agree! . Keeping cuts in the fridge for weeks, cold temps, they look to have started flowering in the cloner & that's probably why he's blasting them with 24hrs.
Monster cropping is the worst. I've kept cuts in a cup of water for a few weeks to lazy to clone them n they start rooting/growing in the cup eventually.
Now blast that with an led light? Mmmnnhhh, yeah looks to be a helluva combo .

They were put in the fridge from a flowering plant.
They were brought out of fridge at different stages, the ones put under 24hrs of T5s look healthy, the ones put under Led look like shit, besides the light all else is equal. _20201117_183035.JPG
The front left is the only one left that went under led?

@MintyDreadlocks
Yes you can keep them for 8 weeks and probably a good bit more.

Some might think that this will have some negative effects, I don't I'm quietly confident its going to take of as normal very soon lol?

Ok, then, I stand corrected. That's what I love about comparisons!
Radient heat but still not to intense of light is the t-5. Its cold so I'd venture to guess your getting a nice low/bulb diffused amount of light along with the heat needed for transperation.
Better suited for the job probably.
Idk! Good luck!

Here's a photo from the this morning.

That’s the best they've looked after 4/5 days under led, I'm a sight more optimistic than I was 2 days ago :-), temps not ideal but doable?

I've left it at the max height but been I've turning it up a little each day.
I reckon it's around 40" when would you start to lower it?
