Budget? Is it $1400, lol?
I want the best yielding light for a 4x4 without being overkill. Was looking at the 650 r for 1100 but the 600. R s are. 700 and seem like theyd do ok what you guy think if you could pick any light for a 4x4 what would it be. I honestly have no limit i know it will pay for itself. I. Wanna hear. From peoplw who switched from 1k hps to led and have had bigger yields, and just how much more you did yield.

I use the HLG 600 rspec in a 4x4 and it kills it. Yield is entirely dependent on your skills.

That doesnt tell me much my guy and lights play a huge part in yeild as well as strain veg time nutes environment. Etc if yeild depended on skills id be using t5s
Yes, all these things apply but in the end it's your skill in dialing them in that makes your yield, that's why the how much you will yield question is impossible to answer. I have 4 pants under my 600, I have finished drying 1, this is it. Now I didn't weigh it since I don't sell it but this is what 1 of 4 plants yielded.

Whats the closest. You Can get the 600 r to the canopy with no issues im worried if i get a stretcher it could burn? A fellow grower uses 1000 watt chilled and his. Buds get right near his light no problem. And they are usually huge buds no bleaching at all and it should be 2x as far away.which seems a bit dif from some info ive read.

As for how close you can get. 50% at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 1212 until you reach full power over 5 days or so. I would not get any closer than 20" but 24" is better or you may start seeing light stress issues or foxtailing.

Spider Farmer are fuckin junk.

Thanks bro that rules them out
LMFAO at some of those reviews, particularly that one by "David" from a couple weeks ago, who is pissed because SF won't upgrade his light to the newest features for free. Meanwhile others are complaining about lack of great customer service, while many of us here have been warning all along of lackluster overseas customer service and warranties. Spider Farmer aren't "fuckin junk", they are what they are.. a decent knockoff of a light invented by HLG at a lower price, which also likely includes lower bin diodes. You get what you pay for. If you want top quality, you may have to pay top dollar. If you are only willing to pay bottom dollar, then be happy with bottom quality.

I really like the ChilLed lights, but don't own any yet. This link should get you an extra 5% off.

Ya, the ChilLed lights should be able to get closer. It has a better spread than the HLG.
