Led quality

Do you think I could put 2 small plants looking for like 1.5 -2 oz per plant under one hlg 100 3000k. I'll keep the vipar spectra on a side angle to help with side coverage.
Unless you really have a 'black' thumb, you should be able to yield at least 1g/watt with the HLG.

I have a 2 and 1/2 by 4 space and I am running 3 300 watt vipers. Very happy with the results. I am pulling roughly a half pound dry , 7/8 ounces every 4 months. The trick is to keep the canopy flat, LEDs do not have the penetration so I keep them low and flat where they do not require any penetration. I don't give a f*** what anybody says these things grow!

No your leds dont have penetration. Bc they are garbage. Yes they grow weed. So doesnt incandescent bulbs. Dont bash leds and say they dont get penetration when you grow with paper weights. Also it has to do with how well you grow. So maybe get that down first.

Bought a 100 watt rapid led pre-made plug and play fixture today, maybe I should have gone with hlg with the way you guys are raving lol.

Heyy guys, I grew years ago with a 1000 watt metal halide/hps now I'm just growing a couple plants because it's legal for fun.. I currently am running the vipar spectra 300 reflector series than I looked online and saw the bud quality people were getting.. and I dont care about the amount of bud but for the love of God I want bud and not just leaves. Found this cob fixture online.. any input to run it with my vipar.
My vipar 900 and 300 kill it for me man. Great lights. Although i want a optic 4 and a bloombeast 525

Now you are talking about great lights... HLG uses top bin, high efficiency diodes. The prebuilt fixtures are great, and if you are even a tiny bit handy with tools the diy kits they sell offer the chance for a top shelf light at a decent price. I own 3 HLG lights at the momemt and they are the best investment I've ever made in terms of growing.

A lot of people said HLG was good. I never had a chance to use it. I just don't like the complex assembling process.
Fluence has the same spectrum light but the price is super high for a common grower. I found Mars released the same construction light. I like the price and shape. Hope it can work well.

The assembly is anything but complicated. If you can operate a screw driver and can push some wire into a connector you have all the skillls needed to build an HLG kit.

I think I'm gonna get hlg as my second light when I ordered from rapid the price kept jumping up.. taxes, shipping, Canadian to American, the possible border fees I'll take hlg next round thanks ... though to be honest I was amazed with Carlos at Rapids customer service.. killer guy.

I've heard many people sing the praises of Rapid. Excellent customer service is one of the reasons I love HLG, and any other company that is doing things the right way deserve recognition.

I thought that building these lights was complicated too but i was completely wrong

I just built my first light yesterday using a couple HLG QB96 v2 and I was surprised at how easy it was

Now im mad at myself for not doing it sooner lol

Posted this over in another thread, too... this is one of the two plants after 8 weeks under only a Vipar Spectra PAR600. I got one with switches, not the dimmable ones. Turns out Vipar Spectra themselves auctions these things off on occasion so I got it for significantly less than it's usual going price. Only venting the tent with a 76cfm 120mm PC fan it tends to stay around 82F in there, so it's warm but not overly so. I like it.
