Depends on how big your plants are going to be. A big sativa with decent veg time, you'll need to have more light than one 90 watt UFO. If you do indicas with a short veg time, maybe 3-4 at absolutely most. Autos, up to 4 maybe.

Those UFO do not cover a very large footprint. I have my UFO in a 20" circle, and that's just for veg.

Another thing with LEDs, a lot of times the advertised wattage is much more than the actual wattage. Mine pulls 98 watts. If I had one that only pulled like 60 watts, I think it would have a hard time even with my 20" circle.

??????? is it.

Has anyone used or found feedback on the Starship 120 LED from HTG Supply?

http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-120-Watt-Tri-Band-LED-Grow-Light.asp
I'd look into one of the Blackstars before buying one from HTG. I have LEDs from both places, and the Blackstar outperforms it probably by double.

That thing looks awfully sketchy....

The "broken" LEDS on your pro grow aren't broken they are UV spectrum not visible to the human eye. I own two 180 PGs and contacted Ben about the same issue when I purchased, if you look at any journals or pictures of the light functioning on the website you'll see the same two LEDs aren't visible to the human eye. His LEDs are legit.

can someone give me a good LED between 100-200 pound to buy?
Unless you wanna import from US, I would recommend ledgrow.se , May be unreadable for you since they are based in sweden. But they ship worldwide.

There are grows on icmag from Addicted2Grow who use those panels.

Since "all" panels to date are basicly the same except different led bins. Some are using old and inefficient leds. Some are using the latest what you can get. It is a gamble finding a seller using this years leds.

I just found this after doing a couple posts and searching LEDS. Im wondering if anyone could reccomend where to buy leds to grow locally. I live in ontario so what kind of hardware chains might have stuff? I wanna make something custon rather than spend 100 - 300 bucks for one fixture, plus i like electrical stuff. Has anyone ever tryed rigging up significant amounts of LEDS with a bread board, power supply, reflective hood and fan or is it cheaper to buy?

You are better off buying than making, everyone thinks they can make these panels but I am yet to see a decently made one that actually showed a grow start to finish.

No problem GeeTee, and yes the leds that aren't visible are on the red (flowering) spectrum side. You'll be happy with the results thus far. Check out my journal in my sig to see what they've done in the veg stage so far. I'm going into flowering now. Very happy with this product compared to my old 400w hps set up.

why hasnt anyone learned? hydro grow LED is run by a scam artist. stop buying his/her shit.
I'm having really good results with the 126w penetrator I picked up. It's matching if not exceeding the ISIS-fx1 and far superior than my KESSILS. The only panel I have that clearly kicks it's ass is my stealth.

This page seems to have nice offers, a 300w LED panel (with 144 3 w LED's) only costs 340£... Is this too good to be true?
