Definately sub'd to this thread! I am thinking about getting a 90w UFO, i searched the thread but without any results but i was wondering if anyone purchased one from HTG Supply? Do you like it? Is it high quality?

I have HTG Supply 120W overheads, two of them and all I can say for now is they veg nicely. Compact and tight nodes make for great bud sites. The UFOs are great for compact spots. Get the tri-band light, it'll have a few bright white LEDs included.

I'm pushin with a 90W UFO. Using prosources though. I've done a grow with my 40W Hid but it was a diffrent strain and it was m first grow. This time I'm doing it properly and will compare my next grows yield with this one. except the next grow I'll only veg with led and flower on HiD.

Question - has anyone played with the light cycles to any degree? To see if there is a different lighting requirement seeing as the efficiency rate "should " be higher? I'm currently vegging @ 24/7 and maybe I don't need all of this.. Maybe my prettys only need like 15 or 16 hrs per day. I'm just speculating on the times...

What spectrum(s) are orange filling? They use orange because they are cheaper than pure white LEDs which are more efficient in providing the mid range spectrums. I've read orange is a no no.

My 120 watt Tri-band LED just arrived from HTGSuppy. It works and looks substantial. HTG is reliable and quick based on my several orders from them.

HTG rawks! I've ordered several things from them and get them fast. What did you get your 120W for? I got one of mine for $305 and one for $251.

Hello Happy Growers!,

I've bought four 2009 Xen-lux LED Quad-Band Panels ( +info@ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330443825143#ht_4103wt_1141 ) to improve my growing. As you can see in "photo 4.jpg" that's my current indoor setup and soon will combine it with this new panels.

I have read most of this thread and other ones in this forum, many of you use the well known UFO LEDs or similar stuff, unfortunately I couldn't find one in my country, that's why I bought the Xen-lux kit which has 900 x 6-centiwatt, 5mm LEDs Quad-Band(R/B/O/W) 100% genuine Bridgelux & HP-Opto LEDs ( that's what they say in the page ).

My question is, Will those 4 panels be able to grow 6 plants in optimal conditions ( regarding light of course ). Please, experienced users of this thread, give me a hand with it!.

I have the very same panels on my walls for side lighting. I would NOT use them as primary overhead lights. They are the cheap diodes.

Are you sure of that? :(. I payed 300USD for that! you say it's worthless? I doesn't work at all? Those stuff are really brightly!

I'm positive, crap diodes dude. I paid $200 for 8 panels, exactly like that, same diodes from eBay, but i bought mine as secondary lighting for branching and they suck. Get your money back. Look at them... no fans, no cooling, cheap construction, cardboard backs......

You can certainly try. I apologize for calling them crap, but they are cheaply made. 233 LEDs per panel and only a total of 13 watts. They may grow. I think my seller was Mixedupwholesale on eBay. He was getting about 30-35 per panel in auctions, sometimes 40. I bought 2 4 pack lots for 100 each. I'd like that money back, but who knows, maybe it does do something, but it didn't do much for me. I'll be removing the panels and using CFLs to supplement my LED lights on my next grow.
