Man thats great, love to hear a good come up story!! Plants look incredible :weed:
Sucks you got hosed by the company you gave so much to, but it all comes back around. Nothing like working for yourself. Stay disciplined, and everything will fall right into place
Thanks man , yea i have one crazy story .. they only reason i had to work for other people for two years is cause i had a cultivation charge back in 2017 before it was legal here. and had to wait it out before I could legally become a omma business owner here in Ok they have a stipulation that you have to wait 2 years from a non violent felony. but non the less still worked in the industry as soon as i got out cause “it was a legal job now” it was ok now , and just toughed it out working for others it sucked but i looked at it as a learning experience and a very humbling one at that.

Crazy shit ain't it  Sounds like you're on the right path now. It's definitely a good feeling knowing the work you do, actually benefits you. When you buy the boss a truck this time, your name will be on the title :blsmoke:

Hmm... if I were Director of IT and I made $10/hr, I would feel deceived and cheated.

Why on earth would you have to ask if it was OK to leave? I'm guessing you just wanted to share your story, right? Totally cool, I'm just thrown off by the question.

Going indoor is almost not worth it unless they stealing electricity. Money poeple will be money poeple. The guy i worked for was able to sell my light dept. Grow as indoor. He hired professional trimmers to trim the buds small and to look indoor. In the end expenses and full cost of green house ate more then half of what was sold. Light dept can look better then some indoor that wasnt properly cared for. In cali high grade indoor selling at 1500 a pound.
It's worth it if you're in a non legal state. High quality buds go $2500-$3000/lb here.

They need to form some old school militant labor unions then. Fuck anyone paying poverty wages.
How much are you implying wages should be? Lets say for a trimmer? Or how about a gardener that gets hired to be in charge of lets say a 20 lamp room w/a helper from 12/12 to chop and hanging? And you get 2 weeks of veg to do. plants come 2 weeks already vegged to you

I've actually been pondering on this a lot recently. Always had a bad feeling about legalization/industrialisation. It would be better all round if many small growers/hand trimmers formed a larger fish so to speak to take on the whales/sharks. The quality and dedication to a smaller batch and aftercare and then maybe have a quality inspector at the end of it and ditch the slacker growers.

Any wage should be a living wage. If you can't afford to pay a living wage you shouldn't own a business.

$8/hr. Whew. Thought my 24/7 was more costly as being non profit by laws.

So many twists to this tale. I do think corporate takeover and state prostitution are a vain attempt at commercialization. If you can still, or now. sell overages legally?? More power to you if ethical on your end. If not? F the system. Gift to your limits in front of the dispensaries. It's already sinking that business plan worldwide. Remove the absurd profits. And legalize a fair return on your physical labor and actual expense.

Peace all.
