Respect to him for naming them and being on the ground floor, but Migos doesn't get enough credit for spreading GSC. They were shouting "COOKIES!" every 3 seconds. Most people don't even know who Berner is.

That song was released in 2016. Cookies was already the hottest strain on the market way back in 2013.
Cookies were cut only back then, and outside west coast dispensaries it was pretty unknown. Now it’s up there with OG as far as name recognition goes.

The cut my buddy gifted me in 2013, but wasn't sure which cut it was exactly. Most likely it was either the thin mint or forum cut, which are also likely the same cut. It just never yielded very well. I moved on from that strain to GG4, which I kept for a few years.
