Not much! I was skillful, "Guys there's a pandemic on the go, give me some space, 6 feet is still the law the last I heard". It's not that they were bad people, they were just not mindful and were reverting back to conditioned behaviors, everybody forgets if it ain't in your face. The infection rates are pretty low here in Nova Scotia now and I want to keep it that way. If you have this thing beaten back then masks are important to keep it that way while having as normal a life and economy as possible, we need to make them mandatory inside and in crowds and avoid having crowds as much as we can.
America is gonna get hammered economically because Trump was pushing reopening with in a week of shutting down and was twisting red state arms. Make no mistake, many red state governors (congressmen and senators too) let hundreds or thousands of their citizens die needlessly because they were afraid of a mean tweet from Trump. What is the price of 120 thousand dead Americans? Apparently a mean tweet, who would have thought your lives would be sold so cheaply, slaves were valued more in the old south.

I’ve also not been shy about speaking up in a mostly tactful way but quickly losing what little patience I have ........ it’s been going on to long to not know it is just common fucking courtesy to wear a mask and practise social distancing. I’m getting close to lifting my mask and coughing in the general direction of the next asshole standing 2 Feet from me 
. Yup 22 cases in a matter of days since opening up in an area with 100,000 spread over 200 square kilometres (75ish sq. miles for my American friends). So far all of the positives have come from one nail salon that has had over 800 customers in 18 days WTF!!!!
Edit: all have said “oh .... sorry”... my goto reaction now is to roll my eyes slightly, a slow shake of the head and the death stare. I’ve been told I look kind of intimidating, I’m not but I guess it’s all in the look lol.

Here in Nova Scotia tomorrow will mark 20 days with no new covid cases reported, people aren't wearing masks in public, though I think we should have to wear them inside public buildings and do myself. It's still out there and soon it will be back, if we want a normal life, we must do this, even if the official numbers are low or non existent, there is no vaccine, cure or proven effective treatment. We won the battle so far, not the war.
I do feel a lot safer though and would like to keep it that way until at least better treatment options are deployed.

Nova Scotia is reporting 19 consecutive days without a new case of COVID-19.
The province also has no known active cases. The last case was identified on June 9.
The QEII Health Sciences Centre's microbiology lab completed 381 Nova Scotia tests on Saturday.
So far, the province has had 53,056 negative test results, 1,061 positive cases and 63 deaths.
Despite there being no active cases, two people remain in hospital. However, their COVID-19 infections are considered resolved.
I do feel a lot safer though and would like to keep it that way until at least better treatment options are deployed.

Most Nova Scotia bars and restaurants won't hit 100 per cent capacity even though it's allowed, but some in the industry see the change as a vote of confidence to get people in the door.
The province hit 19 days without a new case of COVID-19 in the province on Sunday. The weekend marked the first one since various restrictions were eased on Friday.
Restaurants and bars can now operate at full capacity and serve patrons until midnight.
Brendan Doherty, owner of The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse in downtown Halifax, said nothing has physically changed for them with the new allowances.
They still need to make sure tables are distanced two metres apart to follow public health rules, so they can't seat more than what they already had in place under the 50 per cent limit.
But Doherty said he was happy to see the restriction lifted anyway, since the 50 per cent rule seemed to make many nervous.
"We were seeing and hearing just from some people that the 50 per cent capacity was kind of almost playing like a mental game with some people … because a lot ... are still very apprehensive to come out and eat," Doherty said.
Allowing bars and eateries to fill if possible gave the public "a little more confidence" that things were returning to some version of normal, Doherty said.
Even though their space does have a second floor they can open up for more visitors, Doherty said a lack of demand has been more of an issue than capacity.

Kingston, Ontario, 15 km from where I live didn’t have a single case when in lockdown for 3 weeks then they opened before other locations like Toronto ...... 28 cases as of yesterday. Ontario has 277 cases yesterday when only last week we were 160 and dropping, now it’s going up exponentially ..... open it up, at least now you can sunbath and get a Hamburg. Abandon would be proud.

I just would like to add that while I don’t think lock downs can last forever the opening up should have been across the board and not piecemeal as that put pressure on the smaller communities with unrestricted travel...... fuck did they not see that happening??? Also it now seems like we’re just going back to where we started when a few more weeks would have got us close to zero. I honestly think this has been poorly handled re the reopening. Also the excuse for non mandatory mask wearing is they say it’s impossible to enforce.....seems easy enough to stop smoking and going barefoot in a store.....why the fuck not a mask, riddle me that one .

There is a ton of evidence that masks slow the transmission of covid significantly, it protects you and it protects others. Only a selfish irresponsible asshole would not wear one inside a public building, not wearing a mask or whining about it indicates a lack of character and depth. If you were covered in shit from head to toe because you like to roll around with pigs, they can keep you out of a store too, just like if you stink so bad it causes others grief, yer history asshole, it's a free country and that means the freedom to kick your ass out the fucking door..

That all depends on what your definition of "lockdowns work" means.
Do they work to feed money to corporations ? Yes
Do they work to trample what's left of the Bill of Rights and Constitution ? Yes
Do they work to set the stage for further tyranny ? Yes
Do they stop the spread of the statistically inconsequential (for most people) virus ? No, they merely delay and complicate proper immune system operation.
