Lollipoping In Flower? Opinions,exp?

Was leaning towards not lollipoping, but then the stretch came on like a mafk.Now I see how much foliage I have, lots of shade!! And I am ending week 1 of flower. Sorta realized it may be too late. What are your opinions and experiences with lollipoping in flower?

I defoliate on day 21 of flower, just rip the leaves off. Everything is always fine.
