Long flowering sativas

Ive been growing a few years. Ive had almost all indicas. Afgan kush, og kush, grand daddy purp, critical mass, white widow, you get the point...

Anyways, im always growing 8 week strains, but i want to try something different, some 12 week strains, even 14...

I was thinking of some hazes, maybe durbion posion, im not too into strains tbh. Also never grown sour d or blue dream which is all hype im guessing.

Im looking for something with long flower period that has a rememberable taste n high n good numbers of course. I want to avoid a plain old durban posion tbh the hazes definetly appeal to me.

Any winners or advice just point me in the direction...

definitely not..
both are some of my favorites but they might not quite have the high you want. normally i grow landraces and cant really advise where to get them online

but imo anything good is ~16+weeks..fpr that amazing high
some heavy sativas can be significantly longer

Veg'ing an African Buzz (Malawi Gold x Specific Phenotype of Malawi Gold) right now. 100% pure African Landrace Sativa.

Be careful what you ask. Hermies wait in ambush. However I will soon run some Haze again and hope for the best. Gone 80 days before, always over 70. Late nanners don't seem to bother much, it's the boy parts that grow early, sometimes out of sight that make me nuts. Watch new growth very closely.

I grew a durbam posion and ak48 that were sativa dominant. The ak hermied on me and had banannas. The durban got cut down on week 8, all leaves yellowed, it stopped taking in nirtogen. This was years ago. Forgot about it tbh.

If im go better buy seeds I want them to be stable and sativa dominant. The real deal. Wish i could just gets cut of em...

I wanna do a sour diesel or some hazes. Any reputable places or strains you suggest?

Durban Poison's a landrace Sativa from Africa, not a Sativa-dominant hybrid.

I am growing a Sativa-dominant strain or two at the moment. Heavyweight Fruit Punch and Heavyweight Lemon Cake. The HWFP finishes in 8-9 weeks. HWLC finishes in 9-10. Both yield very well.

I'm growing a Full Moon outdoors. 12-14 week flowering time.

Pure breed needle-lookin' leaf sativas are a handful at times. I have had them go on hunger strikes also but one of the first I ever raised was some kind of original haze with very light buds and face-off first hit rush. Hermie prone seed snapping, Back to the Future Lake Chapala highland tasting good.

I was thinking exactly the same thing!
I bought some dope... it was a 1/4 oz and it was expensive but was the strongest weed I can remember. I mean one hit on my pipe and I would be lost in thought for an hour. Another hit and another hour so it was not that expensive after all. It was stronger than a modern strain and I asked what it was called but to no avail, he didn't know.
I suspect it was a landrace Sativa like from Ace seeds. And what Hillbill said about hermies is relevant.
Their are a few seeds in one of these strains too. I was suspecting no one could overlook a male plant in ones patch so it must have been a hermied Landrace Sativa.
The seeds don't hurt it at all and I can't imagine smoking an entire joint of this stuff!

Whats 14 weeks or more? I was looking at a haze 'Sugared Haze' from Southern Oregon seeds. Hoping it isn't too tall for a 400w. This is an interesting subject.

I hate when people refer to marijuana as dope. Leave that term to heroin. I'd prefer for them to start differentiating between heroin and marijuana sooner than later, lest marijuana stay schedule 1. Sorry for ranting, but just my two cents.

You are right and I stand corrected, but I am an old timer, smoked my first joint in 1967 and change is hard. It used to be 'Dope' but I have been telling myself to call it Cannabis as well. That it what it is. Still trying to get used to it. Now... lets smoke some dope!
