Longest time you left a flower in veg?

You can veg indefinitely, but what is the reason here? Indoor, outdoor? I find a bunch of small plants can yield decent and quickly indoor over letting a couple plants veg for a couple months. To each their own, it's what fits your needs/style.

Yes after a while resources will become limiting in either space light or efficiency.

Technically, the longest I've ever vegged for is about 2-3/4 years. It was a cotton candy mother plant. However, I kept it under 2x2' in size.

Currently, I veg for eight weeks. Why? Because that, plus two weeks for clone rooting fits perfectly into my harvest every five weeks perpetual grow cycle.

I just killed 2 Sugar High that were over a year old. Mine average about 4 Months in veg though, because I cut too many clones at a time and then get stuck with them.

I'm currently vegging for longest I've ever done and it's going be near 7 weeks by time I flower I've transplanted 3 times and tryed fimmimg for first time today. Imo these 2 are behind schedule but I'm hoping because it's rooting now and will flourish real soon. I'm like 5 week in veg now but because of covid my soil didn't come hence having repot 3 times. They're in final pot now so hope they bloom
