Goingreen, dude, let me tell YOU. We use that Mr. Clean thingy for washing our cars and bikes, and it WORKS, it kicks ASS. Our water is so hard that it already broke a THREE YEAR OLD WATER HEATER, for all the mineralization. Our water is so hard that we literally have a layer of ferrous-calcareous mulm on the bottom of every toilet tank. Our water is so hard that if you threw in some sand and gravel you'd have cement!

I live very near a place (in Cali) called Black Chasm. Spittin' distance. Google it, neat-O stuff (unless you're claustrophobic like my mom, she had to get out right when the tour started).
Hey been looking for something to do for vacation...I'm only like an 1 1/2 from there..It looks really cool...And sorry about the hard water.

Hello, I'm back from the lake and feeling great. All except about 70 percent of my skin, which is still glowing red.
.
Seamaiden, those endo fungi in the SPT can live & reproduce down to 55 degrees, under that & above freezing - they exsist in a suspended state of being. Super slow functions, merely surviving. So, you can put SPT in the frig, just not the freezer.
.
Goinggreen I do know where the Buffalo River. I've floated it in a tube many times. Me in one tube, the cooler in another. I always go in the fall, after school starts. Fewer people, more water flowing. It's a great place.
.
Deesbarrett I responded to your message, so check your messages.
.
If, I left anyone out sorry. I'll reread the posts & get back with your later. I'm going to take a time out, while my wife hits me with the Solarcain again. LOL.

If your soil is suffering from a high pH ( 7 or above). Give it a double dose of SPT - mix two ounces to a gallon of water & give each plant two quarts of this mix (no more). It will lower your soil pH (on average) about .2 to .4
.
After doing this, always wait until the next day to check the pH. Soil is not like hydro setups. Adjustments to the pH take a full day to stabilize, in soil.
.
Any reading taken sooner than that will not be accurate.

Goinggreen... Your plants are suffering from a lack of two things - N & Mg. So, drain one gallon from your reserviour, then add a gallon of water mixed with one heaping tablespoon of Epsom Salt - plus a small dose of the grow fertilizer you have been using. Let it run for three days, then drain your reserviour and give it a fresh mix of bloom fertilizer (make sure you have some N in that mix). That should dail it back in.
.
Hope this helps...

The epsom salt will not influence sex - I have tried different doses on clones in the past and was never able to stress one male with the epsom salt. Even at six times the dose I recommended to you.
.
You could always foliar feed it to them, if you were not planning on changing out your reservior any time soon. Either way, after your next reservior change - I'd add some SPT.
.
If you keep your nute solution above 500 ppm and below 900 ppm (max) you will be OK. When I used to hydro - I'd stay at 550 ppm & under during veggie grow and slowly build up to about 800 ppm at 6 weeks into flowering. I tried to maintain pH at 5.3 to 5.8 Then I would coast down to the finish the last couple of weeks.

It was a life style choice I made ten years ago. My best friend, who lived on caffinee, nicotine, fast food, beer & hydro buds - stroked out, and dropped dead before he was even 50.
.
I started looking harder at my life style and decided Organic Foods & Organic Buds made more sense. Organic foods had more nutritional value and less chemicals. Organic Bud also was lacking those hard processed chemicals. So, I made the switch.
.
Since doing so, I've never gone back. I enjoy the taste of natural bud so much more. I stopped smoking a pack a day, and dropped back to a cigar or two a month. I'm looking into buying a Vaporizer to take it one step further, with my herb.
.
Since, switching to the Organic thing. I've lost weight, I sleep better & my general overal health is just better. Plus, I've always just liked growing outdoors more. When I hydro'd, I found I did not get outside as much, I used just chemical ferts & spent too much time - always adjusting everything.
.
I like keeping things simple now. A weekly visit to water - if it does not rain. And a visit every two weeks to feed. Keeps me moving, Keeps me Outdoors & Happy.
.
Organic living is best.....I wished I would have started sooner....

Sounds like great living, man. I wish my situation permitted such. I've been using GH nutes for my current grow and I wish I had known more about organics before I let a random hydro store guy pick for me. I'll try to do better next time. Anyway, today I started giving my young ladies(just shy of two weeks into flowering) Super Plant Tonic. Can't wait to see the results. Cheers for this thread and your advice.

Cr8z13... Thanks It's been some work, changing the way I did things, but it's been worth it.
.
Your girls are going to love the SPT, it wil help them mine out every last bit of nutes in your medium - wheter it be soil or water. Just cut back on your feeding a bit, because once it kicks in - it can funel allot of nutes to them quickly.
.
The first time I used it, I nute burned a couple of Skunks - because I kept feeding at my regular feeding strengths. They recovered and yielded above par.
.
You'll have to throw us a pic or two after it kicks in....

Well then id have to say we have a lot in common but i am really sorry to hear about your friend much like one of my peers but he died of pharmaceutical drugs the fucken "doctor" was giving him but i know he abused so n the end he wrote his own ticket!

But back to organics im currently in school for botany and taking some
nutrition classes but intend on opening a fully organic healthfood store with freash produce that i will grow. Im even thinking of a set up to where customer can just come and pick there fruits and veggies for themself. But we will see, that is my american dream anyways.

Ever heard of these? I cant live without'em!
