LST - is this right?

This is the first time Ive ever attempted to LST. Im a little nervous

There are 3 Durban Poison's here. 23 days old in 5 gal fabric pots under 600 watt MH/HPS still in 18/6. I topped one a week ago and Fim'd the other two. I just bent some hangers and hooked onto the plant and gently bent them over as I sank the hanger into the soil. One hanger on each plant. My concerns are some of the leaves undersides are exposed to the light. Will my lights burn them? This is also first time with HPS and Ive already burnt them once when they were 5 inches tall but I caught it early. Also there is one big leaf that seems to block the light from penetrating to the inside of the plant. But there fresh shoot on that stem. Is that leaf feeding that shoot or is the shoot being fed from the stem? Can I just clip it off?

Is this correct? Do I need to change anything? Am I just being paranoid...lol?

They look good to me. The leaves that are turned a bit will correct itself. If those are straight wires you pushed into your medium, she will pull them out. My last girl was lifting an 8 oz weight.and as far as the leaves blocking the lower growth sites... Your call. I generally remove them.

Your doing fine, a photo I looked at has two nodes and a growing tip, I'd move the tie to the front of the nodes (I'm only being picky remember) when it re orientates it'll block two sites, you could remove the leaf/s or move the wire forward one.

If you move it forwards the two behind should grow up unobstructed, it's fine as is but all the small detail collectively matter at the end, removing leafs isn't something I subscribe to unless essential.
Best of luck!

In 4 hours the plants have already started orienting towards the lights and the under growth under the leaves has increased in size by 20% now that they are getting light....WOW just WOW!

I have to say all you guys and this forum is all about learning and achieving better results. Thanks everyone!

I gotta get me a couple of those. Where'd you get the seeds? I fell in love with a strain called Amafu's poison on my first trip to Colorado. Haven't been able to find seeds for it so I'm going to have to cross breed her myself and Durban is one of the parent strains. DAMN! I'm just going to have to start a couple small pheno hunts.. damn the luck.
