I started the second part of the low stress training.I'm unsure what to do about the two branches, should I let them bend by themselves or do what I'm doing to the main stem?

Higher yield is the objective. I had previously asked about topping to increase, and someone suggested this.

Well, LST is used to save space and to allow better light penetration for the most part. What topping does is turn one single top cola into two. Topping multiple times doubles the amount of colas each time.

For instance... I keep my Mom plants very small, and a lot of my clippings come from the top of the plant due to height restrictions in my Mom/clone area. One of my moms must have been topped 8-10 times, so if I were ever to flower her, it would likely be ridiculous the amount of colas trying to grow :)

If you do top, it's generally accepted best practice to do it between the 4th and 5th true node.

You can also look up "FIM"ming.

I'm unsure about topping because they're autos. And I was told not to top after day 10 with autos. Cutting it automaticlly stops growth doesn't it?

You might want to wait a week or so before doing more lst, that plant looks very small.

I wasn't going to do more then that. I just bent it again today. The top was ventricle. I was just asking if this how it should be done or if not what can I change to make it correct.

Dont bother topping or fimming autos, lst is the best way to go for them because you aren't vegging for long and they are on a set schedule. Anytime a new top sprouts, tie it down, just keep doing that and you'll get a lot more out of your auto than you would with topping or fimming

I'm not tying them down yet, as I'm somewhat unsure if how to do it, right now I'm take a small metal wire and bending it into a horse shoe or a U shape and sticking the points int the dirt. Should I start tieing instead of using the wire, use tooth picks and sewing thread or is that too thin and would it cut into the stem?

the wire is fine I only say tieing down as that's what I do, the principle behind it is to direct the top away from the light so the plant gets confused and starts growing a new top in the direction of the light. Does not require any cutting or slowing the plants progress and still allows for more tops to form. Any way to keep the tops from growing away from the light works, I use hemp twine and either tie it to holes in my bucket lid/side or to rocks on the ground. There is a really good guide somewhere on this site, I'm at work otherwise I'd go hunt it down for you.
