Mag/calcium deficiency?

I’ve been battling this deficiency for weeks now and I cannot for the life of me figure out what’s causing it.

My last run using veg+bloom nutrients was the best run I’ve ever had, best aroma, yield, and taste. Crystals were out of this world and not a single deficiency all the way through.

Now I’m on another grow the only thing I’ve changed is sealed my room and installed AC units.

The only thing that currently is different is that my humidity is very low at 35-40%.

I use tap water that is 100PPM (x500) 0.1ec and veg+bloom RO.

My ph is spot on 5.8 I let it go to 6 last week to check and see if it would help calcium and no change. I bought a new ph pen and calibrated it to double check.

My nutes are going up by 10ppm every 48 hours currently at 280ppm including tap water. Which suggests I am burning them and they have slightly yellow tips to match.

I lowered the nutes down last week and the lower leaves ended up even worse.

The stems are nearly completely red but the air temp is 28/29c

I grow in an aero/nft cross system where the water is constantly available to the plants so understandably they need less ppm.

Is it likely the humidity is causing all these issues? It’s the only thing I can think of

I’m not using ro water my tap is 100PPM 0.1ec.

I never used cal mag before ever.
Although I did add 50ppm of cal mag on my last refill attempt 3 days ago and I’m not seeing much difference

Can’t pull roots out too far as they get a
Tangled in my system as it’s a large pipe
But they look perfectly fine to me

Ive re read tap water? so only 180 ppm food? I think their hungry.
The tips look burned and the nute ppm goes up by 10ppm per day... I filled them with 280ppm yesterday and today it went to 300ppm so I refilled it back to 280

ya roots look good, your call but they look hungry , ppm going up isnt really anything with that low of ppm.How much light above?

From my grow log last run round I was feeding 320 ppm when they had their 3rd set of true leaves and no tip burn and completely healthy and ppm was dropping 10 per day

These are quite a lot larger than 3rd true leaf and ppm going up and tip burn it’s baffling me

Do you not find your nute ppm goes down when your in low humidity as plants take in much more water to transpire faster they must be taking in more nutes so you need a lower concentration that’s only thing I thought of.

Last run I maxed at 520ppm mid bloom

Can you actually get tip burn that looks like nute burn from a deficiency? I’ve never seen it

800 ppfd atm, lights dimmed max out at 1500 ppfd
Haha not sure what that means?

Well the tip burn could have been from awhile ago.Mg deficiency is the green veins yellow leaf.
I know ea system needs different ppm. But your 180 ppm of food isn’t much. 1 ml per litre of calmag is about 100 ppm isn’t it? I haven’t checked in awhile.

1ml of cal mag would depend on what cal mag source your using. I used powdered stackswell from veg+bloom and upped my Ppm by 50ppm before adding the base.

I found with systems like dwc or nft etc where water is constantly available to the roots that the ppm is a lot less.

I maxed out at 520ppm last grow at peak flower. I’m still in veg here and plants are still relatively small with only 4 nodes (I pruned off lower nodes)
