Mag/calcium deficiency?

Can you flush them and reset?Or have you lately?Say 12~24hrs
Well I dumped my whole reservoir 5 days ago and refilled to 180ppm and they were looking terrible but maybe I didn’t give them enough time before thinking they were deficient and upping the nuts again

I just checked my last grow log again and I had 320ppm at 3rd true leaf set..

Doesn’t seem to make sense unless my theory on humidity means I need less Ppm is correct

You're under an LED right? Humidity and ppm very important and leds can screw things up...as odd as that sounds

Ya I normally flush pHed plain water for 24 hrs. Then reset.

Yeah my humidity is shit atm, not sure wether I should spend 400 usd on a humidifier or not if it’s not the issue
Just build a quick swamp cooler. Fan on a pail of water. Hang some wet towels. Spray some water in the air.

Tried that, it didn’t do Much of anything my rooms big, my ac units dehumidify atleast 3l an hour.

Gonna try it again though since I’ve sealed the room now maybe being sealed will help a lot more

You reckon humidity is the issue then?

I’ve been battling this deficiency for weeks now and I cannot for the life of me figure out what’s causing it.

My last run using veg+bloom nutrients was the best run I’ve ever had, best aroma, yield, and taste. Crystals were out of this world and not a single deficiency all the way through.

Now I’m on another grow the only thing I’ve changed is sealed my room and installed AC units.

The only thing that currently is different is that my humidity is very low at 35-40%.

I use tap water that is 100PPM (x500) 0.1ec and veg+bloom RO.

My ph is spot on 5.8 I let it go to 6 last week to check and see if it would help calcium and no change. I bought a new ph pen and calibrated it to double check.

My nutes are going up by 10ppm every 48 hours currently at 280ppm including tap water. Which suggests I am burning them and they have slightly yellow tips to match.

I lowered the nutes down last week and the lower leaves ended up even worse.

The stems are nearly completely red but the air temp is 28/29c

I grow in an aero/nft cross system where the water is constantly available to the plants so understandably they need less ppm.

Is it likely the humidity is causing all these issues? It’s the only thing I can think of
I grew in NFT rails. I moved to Coco for ease of mobility. Anyway you can't run hydro to wet that's not the issue. I run at 10% relative humidity so that's not your issue.

What nutrients are you running and how do you circulate your water? You have multiple deficiencies and they definitely need more Ca and Mg. Are you adding that separately? When you add Ca and Mg to your nutrient tank you don't count them.

You also have a P deficiency. How old is your plant?

Hmm. Turn your ac off if ya can. I don’t run an ac so not sure but ya they’ll get rid of your RH. The friggen leds will strip your plants of Mg. VPD is a tuff one with those lights. I think your on the right path though with upping your RH.

I grow in a RH of 10%, it doesn't do that. You'll get tacoing and slowed growth but not Ca/Mg and P deficit.

About 5 weeks since I sprouted seeds they look horrendous.
I have a 16000lph pump circulating water in my 1000l reservoir. I have 4 x 6000 lph pumps creating my nft on 18 different pipes.
Water circulation definitely isn’t an issue.

I never add cal mag I just use veg+bloom base nute.

Your saying I should add cal mag and not care how many Ppm’s they are? Will that not burn?
