Hello fello growers!
So i have 2 northern lights auto's from nirvana, currently day 29 from seed popping soil.
Growing in 5gal buckets with holes drilled in bottom and few around the sides.
Using fox farms planting soil ( not ocean forest) which contains bat guano and some earthworm casings.
Plants started under 4-4ft t8's 6500k daylight bulbs, day 25 put under 600w Higrow led. Lights 18hrs on 6hrs off.
Fox farm nutrients fed every other watering.
Started week 3 with 1tsp per gal, fox farm
Grow big and 2tsp big bloom.
Week 4 now and feeding is up to 1tsp cal mag, 3tsp grow big and 4tsp big bloom.
Water has been ph'd to 6.8...run off around 5.9.
Temps 80 with lights on, 76 lights off RH between 45 and 55.
Ppm is around 1100 to 1200, tap water after sitting for two days sits around 400ppm alone before any nutes.
Ok so now day 29 and noticed rusty looking spots on leaves on both plants and very tips starting to turn rust colored.
Now i think it might be tap water having to much ammonia/ maybe or some other mineral and is possibly blocking magnesium from root uptake?
