Male or female?

No photos here. Just wondering how to determine sex without flipping the girls. I know you look for nut sacks and pistils but at how many weeks will they begin to show signs? Thanks!

It could be up.to 2 months, longest ive seen personally
Could be a few weeks..
Holy shit. I say so because I'm working on 15 regulars right now. Really trying to make a mother. Guess I'll number them all, cut some clones at maybe 3 weeks off each one then flip them. Sigh, such a long process.

I wonder if covering a branch for 12hrs a day would force it into flower while the rest of the plant got its regular amount of sun? Seems like it might work.
Yup, seen it done. Confuses the shit out of the plant though. I have known of 2 growerz that did it ( I am sure there are more) but both of their plants went Caitlyn Jenner. I am sure others have done it successfully though.

The easiest method would be to take a clone of the plant you want to sex and force it into flowering, remember to label which clones come from which plants. The clones will either grow pistils or balls, and just throw the males out and keep the females. You can even use the new clones you made to replace any males you may find.

In 4-6 weeks from sprout your plant should show preflowers. The males will show sex first and they'll be the biggest ones. Don't sweat it. Just be patient
