I dunno who Trump had going through those boxes, but nobody had a security clearance, even Trump. Any person familiar with the official secrets act, or any educated person would have run screaming from the room like their hair was on fire at the mere sight of them, straight to the FBI!

I wonder what happens to the mere mortals whose fingerprints are found on the documents and boxes or are seen entering the pool house on the video cameras? So after screwing one set of lawyers, Donald is hiring the A team and paying the bills now, they had better make sure they are paid well and up front.

He is lethal to lawyers, the sleazier the more deadly the contagion. Sometimes I look at Donald like an enema for the American body politic because he will end up taking so many of the corrupt bastards down with him, getting rid of Stone, Bannon and the rest of the assholes will do a lot for society in general. Hopefully he will also help to keep the republicans out of power for a couple of election cycles at least. Anything could happen over the next few years including a new party on the right, as the republicans go mad.

The big money follows power and corrupts it eventually, but the democrats are pretty grassroots these days and intolerant of corruption as well as many other things. Power abhors a vacuum and if the GOP is filled with lunatics, racists and fascists, poisoned and unelectable or controllable, all it would take is money and some time to create a conservative party.

The problem is their ideology is dead and well past it's best before date. The wealthy have too much wealth and it's upsetting the economic, social and political balance. The leaders of the GOP have been con artists for decades fooling the people with culture wars and bullshit while actually serving the super rich first and the well off second. Take the dark money out of politics and the republicans would collapse like an empty sack. Dark money is on the democrat's agenda too, if they win enough.

They are in no hurry to indict Donald, they just want him to know it is coming, since he wanted to know by filing bullshit briefs. They will leave Donald twisting in the wind for a spell while they investigate further, this will reduce the number of people he has around him advising and make those defending him think twice. Garland will indict trump when he is ready and these delay tactics are kinda stupid, since Garland is gonna wait a spell before moving anyway.

Donald was suppose to go to Scotland to visit his resort in September, I wonder if they will let him leave the country by then? A sudden side trip to visit Hungary and his buddy Orban could be an issue, as would any attempt to flee to say Dubai, but money would be an issue. Donald would have to leave too much behind, unless the Saudi's bankrolled him for a couple of billion. I'll bet he gave MBS the complete file the CIA had on him and Kushner's 2 billion was the reward, or perhaps Kush gave them the file and made cash on the side.

Next, :lol: when ICE busts the staff at Mar A logo they will find 3/4 of them are foreign agents posing as undocumented workers from central America!
