Marijuana price differentials

I've been in the marijuana world for about 12 years now! From running street flipping and engaging a garden of my own to a big marijuana farmer now wasn't easy. To get my growers card (medical card ) I was flopped!
Grass prices haven't been really stable!
Is it really proper to differentiate prices within states?
Or deal directly at same price with all states ?

Yes to the first question and no to the second.

Example: In British Columbia Canada (west coast), a pound is approximately $1,000-$1,400. On the east coast, I've heard from folks recently that the price gets as high as $3,300. As you can see, there's a huge range there.

Looking deeper, each area of each state/province also has factors that regulates the price. For example, in a large city, you might get by with paying $2k for a pound, but 100 miles away in a rural area, you may pay $2,500.

Some guy from Kuwait was saying, yesterday, that an OUNCE goes for $3,000 out there currently. He said it was $1,000/ounce before the pandemic and then skyrocketed even more once the pandemic hit.

I don't sell my cannabis, but since all of this global nonsense happening, I have ramped up my efforts of curing then storing pound after pound every harvest (I harvest every five weeks) in case we ever get to the point where bartering is more convenient than paying cash... or worse, bartering is required.

Illegal dispo prices here range from $5/gram mids to $20/gram for top of the line exotics.
(Canadian $$)
They sometimes have AA/AAA sales for $10/ounce.
Legal weed ranges from like $8/gram to $20/gram....plus taxes and shipping. And its often overdried and fake or relabelled strains. They list ridic thc percentage ranges like 8-20% etc. Its embarrassing but custys pay it.

Unfortunately, per gram prices do not accurately depict the state of the cost of cannabis. Not even the price of an ounce will. The de-facto pricing standard is a pound.

Ya fair enough.

I dont know if too many people hock weed anymore honestly.
Too easy to go to one of 15 illegal dispos and choose from hundreds of strains and ranges in potency etc.

Based on what I outlined in previous post, my best guess would be anywhere from $800-4000/lb. (yes just guesses but there is such a range of whats available its impossible to just say ‘pounds cost $3000’

Cheers
